Full Colour manga releases

Post by Krillin1994 » Sun Aug 27, 2017 6:47 pm

Recently after seeing how beautiful the coloured release of the Manga looked in a book shop I got interest in the coloured form of the Manga.

From what I can see they have the Saiyan and Frieza arcs English released. but I can't see any indication of the Cell and Buu arcs having English releases.

I also saw that Japan released original dragonball in full colour afterwards.

Does anyone know if it's likely that we will get the Manga fully released in full colour?

I believe they said they will go forward with Cell but not sure about Buu. I think they are waiting to see how each arc does before they precede.

This is good as the collector in me wouldn't feel content buying unless they released the whole material.... I could probably survive if they didn't release the coloured version of original DB even though I'd be disappointed.

My bad, I mis read it somewhere. They haven't confirmed the cell arc yet, I hope they do though, it's my favorite arc.

Viz is releasing three volumes per year, allegedly.

Future volumes will be published three times a year.

No, why would it? It's fiction. The strength of the characters is not possible to reach in reality.
I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

I hope they do well enough to cover everything. I have Saiyan and Frieza in Full Colour and they are amazing. The colours add so much depth and life to the drawings and can even make things like wide shots with a lot of destruction in them have a better read to them so you can better appreciate what's in them.

So we're going to have to wait till 2021 to get the Buu arc and possibly 2023 for the original DB ? That's the worse marketing thing they could've done.

Yep. If they'd released them all I'd have bought them all. As it stands, it looks like I'm not buying any for about five years if ever.

I just had my order of the first volume of the saiyain arc arrive today, and there appears to be a misprint on page 26 in the second panel on the page

when goku saying "but chi chi has a fit if he tries to train him" the 'has' hasn't properly printed.

I'm just curious whether anybody else who owns this noticed this issue.

The "has" hasn't properly printed? How about the fact that the entire sentence doesn't make sense? Goku's referring to himself in the third-person? Or did you just adapt it? Your use of quotes might have thrown me off.

That article is from 2014, I wouldn't place too much stock in it. Honestly, I doubt they're going to continue releasing these. Doesn't sound like the sales were quite as high as Viz was hoping.

He's talking about training Gohan.

I just mean he put it in quotes, so that might have thrown me off. That would mean that Goku's referring to himself in the third person or talking about someone else.

I did misquote goku didn't refer to himself in third person.

The last volume of the Freeza arc came out in Jan from what I can see, I contacted viz asking but didn't get a reply.........
