What's up with Ooishi Naho and where will she go in regards to Dragon Ball?
I kinda feel bad for her being stuck with Dragon Ball SD. Or did it end? It's been so quiet around her as opposed to Toyotaro. Almost feel for her. And I wonder if anyone knows how far she's into SD? And what she'll do after, or is doing, if it ended or got cancelled ...

According to the Dragon Ball wiki (Kanzenshuu 2.0 )it's still going. I could see it adapting some of Super's stories in the future.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

I do feel bad that she's just stuck there. I would've liked to see Ooishi get to do something less redundant with Dragon Ball. I liked how her art style shines through in the 08 special's manga. Oh well.

I wonder if Super manga would be better if producced by Ooishi Naho instead of Toyotaro.
As for DBSD, it seems to be still kicking.

I don't think she could give Vegeta anymore screen time so it's as good as it's going to get.ahill1 wrote:I wonder if Super manga would be better if producced by Ooishi Naho instead of Toyotaro.

I really liked Ooishi's Yo! Son Goku manga.
Last chapter I saw was SD Battle of Gods. That was 21, I think.sangofe wrote:How far is it?ahill1 wrote:I wonder if Super manga would be better if producced by Ooishi Naho instead of Toyotaro.

I picked up an issue of Saikyō Jump back in August (so it was the September issue), and the chapter of SD covered Chiaotzu's sacrifice and Tenshinhan's battle with Nappa.sangofe wrote:And I wonder if anyone knows how far she's into SD?

Yeah. They skipped from the 22nd tournament up to the Saiyan arc, which they're still in. The latest issue was the November 2017 issue back in early October, and the chapter ended with that three-way attack on Nappa and then everyone sensing Goku's energy signature on the way.
The magazine has been bi-monthly for a long time now, so it's slow-moving. The next issue (January 2018) goes on sale December 1.

Oh wow. She's trapped in this for a long time unless they skip lots again... It's really too bad when she could've done new, creative content. And a bummer they didn't do the 23Rd tournament.VegettoEX wrote:Yeah. They skipped from the 22nd tournament up to the Saiyan arc, which they're still in. Because have you seen her work? It’s nothing like Toriyama’s

Yeah, I have seen her manga. I like the Bardock manga she drew. And I read your answer. Generally, to persuade people, you should explain why and give concrete examples. You did neither, which isn't very convincing.

Toyotarou’s art is much better than Ooishi’s. I love her chibi art, something she’s pretty good at.

She hasn't done much more than the SD art. I'm sure she'd shine at "regular" art, too.Meshack wrote:I had a feeling you were gonna say something like that.sangofe wrote:How did you know I was going to say that? Because I started the tread?Meshack wrote: I knew you were gonna say that.
