The last episode of Super we saw Bulma in is the one right before everyone teleported to the tournament of power. I guess that was her final role as Bulma, besides doing the voice in Dragonball Fighter Z videogame.
It appears it was a car accident.
Rest in peace.

Here's the latest information:

I'm not even worried at all about whether or not Bulma would be recast.
57?
Aw man. My condolences and prayers to her family and friends. May she rest in peace. Her work was awesome and will never be forgotten.

Aww god what a terrible shame, she wasn't really that old either. She played the part really well.
From the series perspective they've been away from Bulma for over 20 episodes now and she doesn't look to appear in the show anytime soon either. If they were going to recast they'd have some time.

Ugh, this makes you realize Dragonball can't go on forever. Knowing that this will happen to the rest of the cast too makes you realize the anime won't be the same without the cast.

That's incredibly sad! She wasn't even that old. She did a great job with the role...may she rest in peace.

While I agree with you, there are some shows (even in Japan) that got reboots with whole new casts. Some news casts could be as good or even better than the original in some cases. It could be not the same thing to us, older fans, but can be great for newer fans and following generations. I believe Dragon Ball could still go on
About recasting, it's nothing new in Dragon Ball. When Daisuke Gōri passed away in 2010, Unshō Ishizuka and Ryūzaburō Ōtomo took his roles (Ishizuka as Mr. Satan and Ōtomo as Gyūmaō, Enma Daiō and Shen Long) and both nailed it. The same goes to Hikaru Midorikawa (Android 16 in DBZ), who replaced Hirotaka Suzuoki as Tenshinhan in Kai, Super and the games following his death

But this is Bulma... One of three voices who was in the series from the very beginning...
Now Nozawa is the only one left.
The point of Dragon Ball is to enjoy it. Never lose sight of that.

This was so unexpected & so heart-wrenching. Fuck.
It hit like a ton of bricks.
I'd been playing MGS1 & 2 the last few months; she was incredible at Naomi & she did a great no-nonsense act.
Easily one of the all-time Japanese VO greats. She accomplished so much at a really early age & it's so impressive to think she'd already made it big so young
may you ride forever in heaven with Enma-daioh. RIP.

Awful news. She was still young, what might have happened?
The anime will never be same without her voice. RIP

The Japanese dub was never my preferred way to watch dragonball but after watching 100+ episodes in Japanese I could clearly see why people love and adore these actors. They are great, fantastic and sound like they truly love their roles. Too many she is Bulma and it will be very difficult to find anybody who could possibly even fill thos shoes. Damn.
Bulma is awesome... but chi-chi is best waifu

That's really sad, and she hadn't appeared for the entirety of the tournament portion too. RIP.

My heart is scattered into a million fragments. What was really a gun-puncher for me was how her "Son-Kun" was ingrained into my very memory ever since DB to current Super. It'll never be the same without Bulma's seiyuu. Like goddamn, I don't think I've ever been this passionately depressed about a certain actress's death, but I've been following these people and the DB series ever since I was a child. May you rest in peace Hiromi Tsuru.
