Battle of Gods and Resurrection F are on Netflix UK!

Post by Apollo Fungus » Sat Dec 16, 2017 2:14 pm

Good news for Dragon Ball fans living in the UK and Ireland! The two most recent DBZ movies, Battle of Gods (Extended TV version) and Resurrection F, are now available on Netflix for you to enjoy. I don't if that means anything about the TV shows coming to Netflix, since we don't have anything apart from Super on Crunchyroll or elsewhere, but it's nice to be able to watch these movies easily now!

First instance of Toei EU allowing streaming, except DBS subbed like you said, in the UK. Could they finally be shelving their outdated mentality of "no streaming"? Time will tell I guess... Then again it is Toei this might just be a short reprieve before they go back into their shell again.

Oh, very cool. Though it does make me wonder -- why doesn't Toei just make their own streaming service? I feel like they're sitting on a bunch of content that's just not doing anything for them due to its limited or non-existent movement.

Dub sub or both?
Yamcha almost certainly did not cheat on Bulma:
He was afraid of Women, Bulma was the flirty one.
Yamcha wanted to get married (it was his gonna be his wish)
He suggested they settle down in the Trunks saga.
Alternate future Trunks is not a reliable source.
Toriyama wanted new SSJ Kids and not make new characters.

The point of Dragon Ball is to enjoy it. Never lose sight of that.

Unfortunately (and unsurprisingly), they're using Manga UK's materials, so if you're a sub fan, you're stuck with their rubbish subs for Resurrection 'F'.

If you're not aware, they swapped out every sub term for its respective dub term. Kuririn -> Krillin, Muten Roshi -> Master Roshi, etc. Not exactly ideal.
