"General thoughts: the animation is stiff and almost non existent. It's very on model which isn't very expressive but it shouldn't be shit. Boarding looks ass direction looks ass and overall looks pretty bland 3/10"

Adding a little to that, the aura's looked particularly awful and tacked on.

The art looks good. Definetly more consistent than Super was. The animation is pretty stiff.
So its basically GT where they have great art but little animation, i guess.

Still looks entertaining enough.

Super being a main product had a lot of issues so with this being a free streaming anime I thought it'd look even worse. This is by no means a ground breaking anime but it looks OK for what it is.

This looks as bad as Supers worst episodes, so I guess it fulfilled that expectation.

It looks okay, in the sense that it's basically the same as the average Super episode. Everyone looks on model, which is good.

But I wasn't planning on watching this, and I have to say the trailer didn't convince me to do otherwise. I don't play the game, and the idea and concept behind this series just isn't my cup of tea.

While the content of the trailer intrigues me, I have to say, visually speaking, I was very underwhelmed. Stiff animation, badly handled storyboard... just... not good.

It doesn't move, there's no thought placed into the color selection, the storyboard is flat and the characters don't express much emotion in their faces. Dear Lord, somebody get rid of Yamamuro already.

It looks pretty bland. At least I feel like I'm not missing anything by opting out of watching this mini series. GT Goku vs DBS Goku? I don't care about that.

The only thing I like about DBH is they give everyone new outfits, but new outfits alone won't make me watch a fight I have no interest in.

I also like that DBH keeps Yamamuro away from the new movie. I wonder if this project was created partly to get rid of him without being rid of him. I'm under the impression his seniority is what keeps him around.

Can't say I'm surprised by the animation quality. The DB Heroes animated trailers/openings always looked really stiff and it's no different here. At least they're being consistent lol.

As long as this doesn't affect the production for the upcoming film, I'm all good.

I don’t know about that. Unless the rest of dragon ball starts to adapt the Shintani’s character art and designs, we’ll probably keep Yamamuro on any other dragon ball project except to the main movies and tv series.
