Dragon Ball Z TV Special 1 and Movies 7/12 re-released for Fall 2018

Last Friday, Toei Animation and Fathom Events announced that DBZ TV Special #1 and Movies #7 and #12 will be re-released this fall in several U.S. Cinemas courtesy of Entertainment Weekly.

Remastered Dragon Ball Z movies coming to theaters this fall

Dragon Ball Super is currently continuing the adventures of Goku and his fellow Z-fighters into a new era, but later this year fans will be able to revisit some of the earliest Saiyan adventures in a movie theater. Three different Dragon Ball Z movies have been remastered and are coming to select theaters this fall.

Dragon Ball Z: Broly – The Legendary Super Saiyan will debut in U.S. cinemas on Saturday, Sept. 15 and Monday, Sept. 17. Originally released in 1993, it features Goku, Vegeta, and friends lured to the planet New Vegeta by the other sole survivors of their Saiyan race. One of those survivors, however, might be even more powerful than they are, as the Z-fighters soon find themselves face-to-face with Broly, the legendary Super Saiyan.

Following in November is the Dragon Ball Z Saiyan Double Feature, consisting of two movies: Dragon Ball Z: Bardock — The Father of Goku and Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn. The first, as the title suggests, tells the story of Goku’s father, a Saiyan warrior who was cursed with the power of foresight. That ability allows Bardock to see the coming destruction of the Saiyan race at the hands of galactic tyranat Frieza, and motivates him to assemble a desperate rebellion effort while also trying to send his infant son to safety; Bardock’s story plays like a mix of John the Baptist and Jor-El. The second film in the double-header, Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn, follows Goku and Vegeta in their present day dealing with a crisis involving the dead coming back to life across the universe. As they seek the source of this pandemonium, Goku and Vegeta use the Fusion Technique for the first time to create the super-being Gogeta (not to be confused with Vegeto, their other fusion created by using the Potara Earrings). Dragon Ball Z Saiyan Double Feature hits U.S. theaters Nov. 3 and Nov. 5.

These events are presented by Fathom Events and Toei Animation, and tickets can be found at Fathom Events’ website. In addition to seeing these fully remastered films on the big screen (complete with English dubs), fans will also receive an exclusive Broly trading card from Bandai’s Dragon Ball Super card game. Check that out below, along with posters for the two movies.
No word if Canada's Cineplex Entertainment will participate.

If Mike (VegettoEX), Julian, Jake (Herms), Stacey, Ajay or Heath could give me a shout out, this story needs to be placed on the website's front page.
