More importantly, what's the video source? Does it resemble Dragon Box footage? Does it resemble Funi's Digibeta's? Does it resemble the Intertrack master?

No and no idea. I don't own the yellow box. I have the much earlier uncut collection. I found someone selling yellow box sets for £30-50 Yesterday, but now cannot find them. They may have sold already.

You could take a few screenshots to answer Danfun64, if you're able to. Supposedly, the quality is decently good but never saw any footage from it.

The JPN audio also is likely just as bad as it is on the Dragon Boxes.

If anyone has any of the DB/DBZ/DBGT or Maho Tsuaki Sally Japanese single DVD's that they'd be interested in selling send me a PM and I'll see if we can work something out. ;).
