Which of the 3 modern films has the best promotional song?

Post by foxfang4 » Sat Nov 24, 2018 9:18 am

What's your favourite of the 3 promotional songs?
So the choices are:

1. Battle of Gods - Hero

2. Revival of F: Momoiro Clover z - The Oath Of z

3. Broly: Daichi Miura - Blizzard

This one for sure! Actually, I still can't stop listening it. :) Hero comes second, it is also a cool song.
We help! ... Hmm. Always get Autobots out of messes they get into.

Daichi Miura's "Blizzard" has the most atmospheric direction behind its composition, so that wins it for me.

I like FLOW's "Hero", but it doesn't really have a flow to it(forgive the pun).

Momoiro Clover Z's "The Oath Of Z" is just generic J-Pop song #13324598.

I don't know if the metal song "F" can also be considered a promotional song. It plays in the 3rd Revival of F Japanese trailer briefly. But then "Oath of Z" takes over. Honestly, I dig all 3. Even Oath's of Z's cheesy video  .

I think Blizzard is the best, Hero is pretty nice sounding as well, but the ROF-song isn't special IMO.
The plots and animation of the movies seem to go along with the songs in terms of quality.

Blizzard, for sure.

Going to watch for Super Broly Original Soundtrack to go on pre-order because I want to listen to it in lossless CD quality because while iTunes' M4A is really good, this is to be experience as good as it possible. Amazon and Google really ought to upgrade their music format because MP3 is a relic from the past.

As everyone who posted so far, I'll go with Blizzard.
It's the song that builds me more hype for the new movie every time I listen to it.

Neither are any good to be honest but certainly not the Resurrection F one.

I mean, F predates the movie by like 7 years, so calling it a promotional song for the movie doesn't seem right.

Anyway, I actually think all three are pretty decent, but... Blizzard > HERO > Z no Chikai. I ended up liking Z no Chikai a lot more than I thought I would, but the other two are just plain better. Though I'll take all of them over BoG's Head Cha-La cover. I did not like that thing.

Hero was vastly overrated and like the "F' one it felt like it didn't belong in the film (and the placement of it in BoG didn't help either). Blizzard not only is pretty good but I feel like it fits the film well too.

F by Maximum The Hormone is far and away the best song to be associated with the modern Dragon Ball films. Or hell, all of them really.

Hero defiantly the best one, idk about this new one I don't really like it. It just doesn't hype me up, Flow on the other hand does.
Bulma is awesome... but chi-chi is best waifu

Blizzard is my favourite of the 3, but when Hero started playing in BoG I got goosebumps. Basically if I’m training and I want a good push I’d play Hero, not Blizzard, but I prefer Blizzard for casual listening.
