Thank you bilis for posting screencaps since I couldn't. Comparing the blu-ray to all the other comparisons, I'd have to say Funi would win this battle. But I already said that before. The other shots look real fuzzy. It's almost as if somebody took a giant shit on the negatives and called it "digitally remastered." Even though the original Pioneer, and UUE didn't use negatives as far as I know.

No upscale! Telecined in 1080p, full HD! ETC123 has mentioned this to you before. Where have you heard that they are just upscaled?

It's at the bottom of the first page along with many others. For bigger pictures you'll have to ask theoriginalbilis, he owns the movies, not me.

Those are DVD screenshots. He was asking for Blu-Ray.

The OriginalBills said that his caps are from the DVD not Bluray.

The D-Box pic looks sort-of washed out, if you will, and bleached. I can't really describe it. With that said, however, the remastered and Dragon Box versions beat the shit out of the UUC and Pioneer releases. Good God, the colors in those two don't even resemble the Dragon Box in the least bit. Sure, this will be my second Dead Zone copy (I currently have the UUC one) but I'm definitely getting this.
Is it just me, or does the Dragonbox version has more details than the Blu-Ray?

I noticed the same thing. A lot of the lines look different in the bluRay than in the others.

That's because it is a different frame.

Yeah, just look at the size of Garlic Jr.'s eyes in the Blu-Ray pic in comparison with the other 3 pics.

Thank you for pointing this out, I have re-labled my previous posts so everyone should now know that there are no Blu-Ray shots in my 4-way comparison or on the first page, got it?

Well, that's because it's not the exact same frame. Other things on him are the same and others are different.

Yes that's true, but I also had to enlarge the two bottom pictures so that all of the pictures have the same width. These really aren't good pictures for comparing how much each version is zoomed in, I posted them so we could compare the quality and clarity of the different versions, but your free to look at them as you wish.

I was supporting that point when I said that.

Whoa, Nice, hope you don't mind me using that screen shot to show other people.

I still haven't ordered Dead Zone/Worlds Strongest yet. I can't wait to get this one, Tree of Might is one of my favourites.

"Coming soon"... I know that to them a third of a fiscal year is quick, but to us it's not.

It's 3 months away. But you know it's not going to come out in August. Last year, Season 3 was supposed to come out in August, but it didn't. They're "supposed to" be spaced 3 months apart. But obviously something went wrong when we only got 3 releases last year.
