Preferred Scenes in other version
Hey all, had this idea for a Topic so I thought I'd post it up.
If you're a fan of the Original Japanese version. Which scenes do you prefer in the Funimation Dub?
And if you're a fan of the Dub. Which scenes do you prefer in the Original JP Version?

But is it me, or does this topic come up every other month?
Gotta talk about something in between the 7,000 different releases of the dub, right?

I don't think I've seen it in Japanese, but I like the dub scenes where everyone pokes fun of Vegeta's Bad Man outfit. (the pink shirt/yellow pants/green shoes) X3
Oh, and Saiyaman's "superhero" voice always cracked me up.
I loved the Japanese version of the "inside Buu" mini-arc. Actually I liked just about everything involving Ryo Horikawa's Vegeta.

I'm pretty mashed up regarding dubs, given the 3 different dubs we got here in the UK.
However, I think one of the times that the FUNi dub performed really well was the beginning of the Android's saga. When Yamucha is stabbed through the chest by No. 20, the dub cut the music for a second, allowing the audience to hear an echoing sound effect of the hand moving through Yamucha's body before breaking out his back. This made it much more eerie and in some ways the Androids appeared more ruthless without the "dun dun dun" music.
And along with this, I also prefer the beginning of the next episode, when everyone is running around the city. The dub has a fast paced piece of music that heightens the tension, whilst the Japanese original is just silent. Usually I prefer this, but given that it's about a main character dying, I think heightened tension was in order.
Oh, and I so desperately prefer the Japanese version of Gohan's SSJ transformation.

I love humans, always seeing patterns in things that aren't there.

Vegeta's Final Flash on Cell. For a scene with that much tension (and with such a big clash of raw power), the japanese originals relative silence just didn't fit for me. In the dub they played a couple of more tolerable Faulconer tracks, and I think they complimented the scene fairly well.
To show my appreciation, I'll only beat them half to death.
Oh yea #17 again I just remembered how awesome Chuck Huber is in History of Trunks.
When he is running everyone over in the car, he is saying 'OH SORRY, OH OH NOT REALLY' made me laugh

He seems to let loose with Hiro in Shin-chan, his other roles all seem funnier now. I remember him doing an Airplane! joke as Pilaf.Vegeta Jr wrote:Oh yea #17 again I just remembered how awesome Chuck Huber is in History of Trunks.

"And don't call me Shirley!"
It's only funny in Airplane!, Dragon Ball, and The Office.
He's playing Môji the Lion Tamer in One Piece now too, I can't wait to hear it!
