What if Shin went back in time to warn his past self about Majin Buu with the time ring?

If Teen Gohan turned into a Super Saiyan 3, his power would be 4x SSJ2, allowing him to easily vaporize Cell without the help of Goku and Vegeta. After Perfect Cell regenerated from 1 cell into Super Perfect Cell, he had the aura of an SSJ2. Hence, Super Perfect Cell also turned into an SSJ2. Given that Perfect Cell was already stronger than SSJ Gohan, multiplying both sides by 2, shows that Super Perfect Cell > SSJ2 Gohan even if Gohan didn't get injured. The distraction caused by Vegeta hence, was crucial to allow Gohan to deliver the final blow. As a SSJ3 however, Gohan would have absolutely no issue.
What if by some chance, you had been hired by Toei Animation to do an OVA that took up well over an hour to explain how exactly Future Goku had stopped Mecha Future Frieza, Future King Cold, and their Footsoldiers from destroying the Earth of the Future. Before moving on to sadly chronicle in great detail what had happened between that battle and how Future Goku had contracted the very Heart Virus in the first place?

Excellent question! This one will be a long one, so be prepared to read it.
In the original unaltered timeline, Goku is in his space pod, traveling to Earth from Yardrat in Age 764, excited to meet his friends after a long time. Eventually, Freeza's ship crosses his trajectory and is also heading towards Earth but it is faster than his own ship. Since he would not arrive in time, Goku uses the Shunkan Ido to arrive at the scene. Then, he easily dispatches the foot soldiers with ease. Upon seeing Goku's face, Freeza instantly boils with anger and attacks him. Goku turns into a SSJ and easily deflects his blast. Goku tells Freeza that he still hasn't learned his lesson. Freeza tells his father that Goku is the Saiyan that defeated him. Goku says that this time he cannot show mercy as he must protect the people of Planet Earth. Without noticing, Goku uses his speed to get behind Freeza and delivers a kick and then uses his Super Kamehameha to vaporize him to dust. Freeza's father, seeing his own son, who is superior in power be vaporized, is scared and offers Goku to be the new leader of the Cold Army. Goku refuses. Cold runs to his ship to escape Planet Earth. As he reaches the atmosphere, he decides to fire a blast to destroy Earth. Goku senses it and fires back a Kamehameha to overcome Cold's beam and destroys his own ship in the process, vaporizing him.

Goku's friends watch as they are shocked to see what just occurred. Two years pass by and it is Age 766. At this time, Goku manifests the symptoms of an unknown heart virus that he had acquired on Planet Yardrat. This virus was common to Yardratians and vaccines were already developed on their planets. However, as Goku is a Saiyan, his body's immune system was not accustomed to handle this virus without medication. Goku dies in his bed with Chi Chi at his side. Given that his death was natural, he could not be revived using the Dragon Balls. At this time, Pilaf, Shu, and Mai begin to collect the Dragon Balls.

While this is occurring, far away in a lab, a scientist named Dr. Gero is programming Androids. Dr. Gero lost his son, who was a soldier in the Red Ribbon Army a long time ago by a bullet. He blames the death of his son on Goku because he destroyed the Red Ribbon Army. The death of Dr. Gero's son also caused shock to Dr. Gero's wife which led to her demise. Hence, Dr. Gero has blamed these tragic events on Goku and dedicated his life to seeking revenge. After Commander Red was killed, he found his body and created his first Android based on a human model which he named Android #9. Previous models such as Hacchan (Android 8 ), were completely machine based. Since that time, he conducted his research in secret labs that he placed at different locations around the world with a Super Computer in each one. He also created a remote tracking device disguised as a ladybug to collect data on Goku and other fighters on Earth. He developed Androids 10-12 which were all failures because of lack of a sufficient energy source. He later decided to place a bomb inside each Android as a self-destruct fail safe for all his future models in case an Android were to lose in battle. His next models, Androids 13-15 were successful creations based on human models but they still lacked a sufficient energy core. He placed the models 13-15 in another basement facility. After having had much practice on developing Androids, he wanted to make his next model the strongest one based on his own son. This model was named Android 16. He programmed him with the same personality as his son, non-aggressive but with the one directive - to kill Goku. However, unable to bare the emotional trauma of his own son's destruction, he decided to keep Android 16 deactivated. He realized that in order to supply Androids with a sufficient energy source, he needed live human models. He kidnapped two human teenage twins named Lapiz and Lazuli who he turned into Artificial Humans named 17 and 18. For the first time, he put a new energy core that was based on a perpetual machine that gave the Androids infinite energy. The perpetual machine converted molecules from the surrounding environment into energy.

While Androids 17 and 18 were his best creations, they were too rebellious as they hated Dr. Gero for converting them into Androids. Hence, he went back to Android models that are purely machine based. He created Android 19 who used an Energy Absorption Model that could absorb energy through a receiver he placed on the palms of the hand. As he was getting older, he needed a way to work endlessly without being fatigued by a human body. By studying the work of another scientist named Dr. Wheelo, he successfully transplanted his own brain into a new Android model he called Android 20, with the same Energy-Absorption model as 19. Dr. Gero realized that the perfect Android would be one that is biologically based with the power of Androids 17 and 18 and the DNA of the best fighters on the planet. He thus, programmed his remote tracking device to collect the DNA of the best fighters. With Cold and Freeza's arrival, he had collected the last DNA samples he needed. His new experiment was called "Cell" which he placed in his underground basement lab and programmed the super computer to work on automatically. Meanwhile, in another lab, he programmed another super computer to build Android 21, based on the human model of his wife, as backup. This model would continue to collect the DNA of other fighters in case Cell or himself failed.

Several years passed until May 12, Age 767. Dr. Gero decided that it is time to deploy his Androids for battle. As soon as Android 17 was activated, 17 took the opportunity to grab the remote controller for the bomb. He crushed it and then goes on to kill Dr. Gero. Then, 17 and 18, still programmed to kill Goku and attack South City, fly there. The Z senshi eventually learn of the destruction of South City on their local TV news channel. As they mourn the loss of Goku, who died 6 months ago, they fly to South City to investigate. The Androids were merciless and no Z fighter could stand up to them, not even Vegeta or Piccolo. As the destruction and onslaught of the Androids continue, Gohan retreats the scene of the battle to look for the Dragon Balls in an effort to repair any damage on Earth. The Dragon Radar showed that all 7 Dragon Balls have already been gathered. As Gohan and Bulma approach the location of the Dragon Balls, the sky turns dark. Pilaf and his gang wish to be youthful again. Shenron turns them into babies. Just then, Android 18 has killed Piccolo and thus, Kami. The Dragon Balls turn into stone. Vegeta, Tenshinhan, Yamcha, Krillin, and Chiaotzu also die. Yajirobe who was shot through his abdomen, managed to survive because Korin gave him lots of senzu beans. Gohan retreated with Bulma to a location far away. Since the Androids could not sense ki, they were safe. Goku, meanwhile is in Heaven. North Kaio is oblivious to these events on Earth, did not provide Bulma the coordinates of New Namek. Hence, the Namekian Dragon Balls could be used to wish back the fallen Z senshi.

Thirteen years pass by to Age 780 where Gohan and Trunks are 23 and 14 years old respectively. During the the 13 years, Gohan learned to turn into a Super Saiyan himself but he still could not defeat the Androids together. In fact, he loses his left arm against a fight with Android 17 who was only using half his power. Upon seeing Gohan's arm lost, teenage Trunks turns into a Super Saiyan for the first time, focusing all his rage. Due to the loss of the senzu beans, Gohan could not regrow his arm. Thus, Gohan in his base and one-arm, trains with SSJ Trunks for 1 more year. At some point during this time, Towa and Mira from the future, activate the Future Android 16 of this timeline. Future Warrior and Gohan together defeat Future 16. However, Mira goes on to steal Gohan's energy which prompts Trunks: Xeno to aid his mentor, overpowering Mira. This causes Gohan to believe that one day, Trunks will defeat the Androids. Trunks: Xeno, Mira, and the Future Warrior leave. Sometime later, Androids 17 and 18 attack Pepper Town. This time, Trunks wants to join Gohan to fight the Androids but Gohan knocks Trunks unconscious with a karate chop knowing that Trunks will one day save the world. Gohan attacks Android 17 and states that he is much stronger now. However, Android 17 easily disposes of Gohan. As Trunks wakes up, he finds Gohan's body on the ground lifeless.

Three more years pass to Age 783. Trunks is a lot stronger now. Bulma is working on a new project - a time machine. Before she can test whether it works though, she needs 8 more months to produce enough fuel called Electro Blue No. 15. Then the radio broadcasts the Androids have attacked Bridgetown, 300 km south of West City. Trunks, confident that he can defeat the Androids this time, flies off despite his mother's pleas. The Androids toy with SSJ Trunks. They decide to keep Trunks alive since he is the only strong fighter left and it would be no fun if he would die. Android 18 blasts Trunks causing him to fall unconscious. Five days later, Trunks is found in a hospital with Bulma next to him. He realizes that he's still no match for the Androids. After 8 months, Trunks finally takes a trip using the time machine from Age 784 to Age 764. Bulma has given him the heart medicine for Goku's heart virus. His goal is to meet Goku without changing the past and learn of the Androids' weaknesses so he can defeat them in the future.
Time rings cannot be used to travel to the past, only to the future.

It wasn't a sneak attack. Cell attacked Vegeta and Gohan intercepted to protect him. Even if Gohan were healthy, Cell received the same boost that Gohan did after transforming into a SSJ2. Since Cell's base was already higher than Gohan's, his SSJ2 hence was also higher. The only reason Gohan won that beam struggle is due to Vegeta's distraction. Basically, if Gohan didn't make the decision to lose his arm to protect Vegeta, he would have lost the beam struggle with Cell.
If Perfect Cell (SSJ) > SSJ Gohan
Then Super Perfect Cell (SSJ2) > SSJ2 Gohan

If Future Trunks had Full Power Super Saiyan Teen Gohan and Piccolo to train with in his second trip to the Room of Spirit and Time, would he have been strong enough to gain an edge over the Cell Juniors, prevent himself from dying from a Full Power Death Beam by Super Perfect Cell, and help in taking Super Perfect Cell down during the Cell Games?

If Future Trunks trained for another day in the RoSaT with Teen Gohan and Piccolo, he would be stronger but not enough to survive a Death Beam by Super Perfect Cell. He would be able to fight on par with a Cell Jr. though.

If following his day in the Room of Spirit and Time, Piccolo had fused with King Piccolo before fighting in the Cell Games, would the former have won against the Cell Juniors and Cell himself?

If Perfect Cell (SSJ) > SSJ Gohan
Then Super Perfect Cell (SSJ2) > SSJ2 Gohan
Expect

1. Gohan was protecting Vegeta thus his guard was down it was not Cell shooting at a Gohan who was ready to brace or lock the attack.

2. Your assuming Cell got the same boost as a ssj2.

3. Gohan at half powermfired a kamehameha that Cell couldn't overpower even when he got serious before Vegeta showed up.

4. Goku states Gohan still has enough power to handle Cell. There us a reason Cell had to damage Gohan before their fight started.

Gohan healthy> Super Perfect Cell is stated.and shown.

Why the heck wouldn't Cell get the same boost as a SSJ2? SSJ2 is just a multiplier. It's 2x SSJ. We've seen time and time again, that when a person is distracted or when there guard is down, they are vulnerable. Cell got distracted and that's all that was needed for Gohan to take the win. All of these events are happening in fractions of a second. Gohan WAS above Perfect Cell, but not for Super Perfect Cell. Maybe if Gohan took a senzu bean, he would've gotten a zenkai that allowed him to be above Super Perfect Cell. However, it makes absolutely no sense math wise if A>B, then 2A > 2B must be true.

Super Perfect Cell is a zenkai over semi perfect cell firstly. Secondly Cell is not a saiyan his aura changed to show he powered up from fodder to Gohan's level. Lastly Goku says that Gohan can beat Cell if he doesn't hold back.

Cell is Gohan's equal at best.

Cell is Gohan's equal at best.
Cell is also a Saiyan. He has the distinct aura of a Super Saiyan when he fought before the zenkai and then the lightning after the zenkai. He definitely became a SSJ2 at that point. SSJ Gohan released all his power and still couldn't beat Cell, so they aren't equal.

Cell is partly saiyan us is a Bioandroid made from saiyan sma but not a saiyan. Also ssj2 Gohan's full power did beat Super Perfect Cell.

Super Perfect Cell is not 2x FP Perfect Cell.

Cell has the DNA of many races including Saiyan. Having a fraction of that doesn't make him less powerful. Gohan himself is a half-saiyan yet surpassed his father during that arc. SSJ2 Gohan full power kamehameha beat Cell only because Cell got distracted by Vegeta.

Gohan is a saiyan, cell is a walking petri dish. And yes half power Gohan beat Cell with Vegeta's help.

Full power not injured wouldn't need Vegeta.

What if Goku was a girl? I know, on the surface, this looks like it wouldn't really make much of a difference, but could it be more than meets the eye?
Caulifla best girl! :)

His husband wouldn't yell at him to get a job because he would be the one who is working
Yamcha wouldn't fight him losing the title of first character that defeated Goku
Pan's favourite word would be "Grandma!"
He would have his boobs visible as SSJ4
Roshi would be happy and wouldn't need them to bring him real girl or read magazines from Krillin
"I will concede that your feelings are worthy of the mightiest of Saiyans. However, there is more to my power than just this. Before you die, I will show it to you. This is the difference in power, between the primitive Saiyans and the evolved Tsufruians." ~Baby Vegeta

If Future Trunks trained for another day in the RoSaT with Teen Gohan and Piccolo, he would be stronger but not enough to survive a Death Beam by Super Perfect Cell. He would be able to fight on par with a Cell Jr. though.
If Vegeta had attained the Super Saiyan Rosé transformation during his Quake of Fury instead of only powering up his Super Saiyan 2 transformation to surpass Super Saiyan 3 Goku during Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, would it have been enough to deal with Hakaishin Beerus? Or would it have taken something more than a hypothetical Super Saiyan Rosé Vegeta having an incredible boost in strength through rage?

Super Saiyan Rose is just an alteration of Super Saiyan Blue. Ki is present in all living things but each person has their own unique ki. The God ki supplied by Zamasu in a Saiyan's body hence, resulted in Super Saiyan Rose instead of Blue. In the manga, Beerus fought Completed Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta and won easily. Even with rage, Vegeta does not have a chance. After the Tournament of Power, Vegeta is getting closer to Beerus level but is still very far away.

Shadowfox87, here is yet another serious dilemma for you to give your thoughts on, what form do you think Super Saiyan 2 Majin Vegeta would have ascended into if he had been constantly stopped from killing any of the innocent civilians in a very petty manner in the Budokai by Son Goku having been smart enough this time around to have turned Super Saiyan 2 ahead of time and deflected each and everyone of Full Power Super Saiyan Majin Vegeta’s attacks like if they were pretty much nothing whatsoever when in comparison towards him?

Majin SSJ2 Vegeta and SSJ2 Goku were basically equal during the Buu saga. Goku couldn't have deflected every blast from Vegeta. It's not really possible as Goku can't be in two places in once. If Vegeta fires two shots simultaneously, he would have to deflect one and not the other. Goku could use Shunkan Ido, but that's not enough to deflect several 100s of ki blasts. Vegeta wouldn't have ascended past what he already is. If he could ascend further, he would have when fighting Goku.

What if during the trick wishing during the Namek Arc, Nappa was brought back to life because Vegeta was still working for Freeza when he killed Nappa, and no you cannot say become a movie executive.
