Would spending a year in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber help Goku, Trunks, and Pan in the long run?

1) Imagine the day before the 28th World Martial Arts Tournament would have started, Goku had taken both Trunks and Pan with him into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, and helped them realize their potential. By teaching the two to transform into a Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2, and even Super Saiyan 3, but if this took place in the original Dragon Ball GT Timeline, would this have been enough to better the chances of the three in their search for the Black Star Dragon Balls throughout the large Universe? Especially if Trunks and Pan went off to train with Goku and Uub following the end of the World Tournament?

2) Imagine the day before the Pilaf Gang had wished Goku to become a child, Goku had used his Instant Transmission to go fetch Trunks and Pan. Reuniting with them and asking the two if they would like to kindly spend a day with him inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. The three would then go in and train for a full year, allowing both Trunks and Pan to obtain the Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2, and Super Saiyan 3 forms. Now if Goku, Trunks, and Pan had went in their Grand Tour, it would have been better or worse in your humblest opinion?

Zero) Yes, it would have helped the three immensely.

One) Definitely. Toyotarō would have been pressured to send in his precious little Xicor.

Two) It would have been much better!

Three) No, I would have preferred if Goku, Trunks, and Pan went to the Super Saiyan 4 form.
