can the parts of a fusion sense the fusion's power ?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

can the parts of a fusion sense the fusion's power ?

i was wondering if 2 people , once fused, could sense the ki of their fusion... i dont think so, it sounds strange to me because Goku could'nt sense his own ki, so i dont think that Goku could sense , for example, vegeth's power

I remember another user cannily bringing up that in the series it might be unclear how much accurately they gauge even their own power (or better yet, if they're always 100% accurate when they do) in general, and not just when fused.

As for the Fusion itself being a variable, I'd say it looks improbable. Leaving aside the above and assuming Goku can always sense his own power, every fusee seemingly shares the fusion's memories as their own. If Goku can sense his own power and he sensed his own ki as Vegito, it'd lead one to think he would also remember it when unfused.

Well, Trunks could tell Gotenks is stronger than what they expected from Super Buu, so yes, they can.

Goku seemed sure enough that a fusion between him and Vegeta wouldn't be able to fight Beerus. He must have thought that for a reason.

What evidence is there that characters can't accurately sense their own power?
