How Many Non-Saiyan Individuals Knew Of The SSJ Legend?

Post by theherodjl » Wed Oct 04, 2017 12:03 pm

Freeza obviously knew from his ancestor(if EOB counts) and on top of that knew of SSJGod(in DBMinus), as a result his closest minions knew too.
Then we have Saichoro who referred to the SSJ legend when speaking about the Nameless Namek being killed by a Saiyan, Kaioshin knew of SSJ too and Beerus & Whis may have known somewhat prior to Whis googling the past fight with Freeza using his staff.
Is there anyone else who knew about it?

I would assume the four quadrantal kings, at least the northern one, along with Dai Kaio might have some knowledge of the Super Saiyan transformation. They are in charge of overseeing the progress of their corners of the universe. Besides them, Porunga seems like he would know. Nail may have been audience to the Grand Elder conversing discussing various universal legends, including the Super Saiyan transformation which the SSJG form pays something of an homage to, the same form that the Namekian Book of Legends references for some reason. Don't forget Ginyu and presumably other members of the Ginyu Force.

Chilled is not a canon character. He was created solely for the what-if story Dragon Ball Episode of Bardock. Freeza only knew of the Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan God because his advisor told him of the legends because the Saiyans were talking about them. Only the Saiyans knew of the legend. I'm pretty sure the others were just filler. Whis didn't know of the legend. He just says Gokuh transforms into it.
