More Yogengyo Involvement?

Post by Meshack » Fri Oct 27, 2017 9:48 pm

In Battle of Gods and the Hakaishin Beerus Arc, Yogengyo sets up Beerus searching for the Super Saiyan God, prophesying that the Super Saiyan God will be an arch rival of his. Besides telling prophecies, he doesn’t do much else and that’s good somewhat. With Resurrection F (don’t know about the Golden Freeza Arc), Yogengyo informed Whis that Bulma called him and that’s how Gokuh and Vegeta got to the earth to save it from Freeza. Afterwards, Yogengyo hasn’t done much. He reappeared in the the manga for the Universe Survival Arc but it was just Yogengyo telling Beerus that Gokuh AND Vegeta will be his rivals, forcing Beerus to challenge Vegeta to test his power.

Where I’m going with this, do you guys want to see another arc involving Yogengyo more like have him do another prophecy and that leads to something or it’s too soon.

It's possible, though the Oracle Fish's predictions haven't accounted for multiversal events as of late which is where the series is heading. It just seems to serve as a plot device/servant to Beerus regarding his opponents, unless any future tales become another U7-centric conflict then it'll probably take a background, unseen role again.
Though it could return purely for a gag or expositional chapter cover.

I can't get enough Oracle Fish. I hope he appears in every episode.

I'm not kidding.

I love the fact that his predictions are only right some of the time too.

She's interesting enough that I'd like to see more of her. Of course, I have yet to see if her predictions work out.
