Conclusion to Jiren fight sharing similarities with the Frieza fight on Namek?

So, every time it appears that Goku (and Vegeta) match Jiren's (current) strength, he shows more of his 'hidden' power, reminiscent of how Freeza just keeps on transforming during Namek. The power gap between final form Frieza and Goku was so big they introduced the long-hinted super saiyan transformation to make him compete again. Now we have ultra instinct omen, which literally means that there is a higher form/technique for Goku to achieve. Episode 126 implied at the end that just like before the gap in power is so large that all seems lost.

Some parallels could even be drawn to the Ginyu squad fights prior to Jiren/Frieza, the overall Toppo fight is similar to the Recoome fight, in this case both Frieza and #17 (mainly Frieza) replacing Vegeta, and Vegeta replacing Goku. Whilst Dyspo could be seen as an alternative to Ginyu himself, both Gohan and Frieza had enough raw power to fight Dyspo but his speed is something unique which makes the fight difficult much like how the body change technique complicated the fight.

Also unrelated, wouldn't the Gods be able to sense Jiren his true power regardless? Surely the Angles would know instantly the extent to one's power.
