Episode 76, in the Japanese, Vegeta states it will take "several more minutes" for Kakarot to heal from his wounds. Vegeta says this before Freeza even showed up, and Goku obviously doesn't awake until Freeza is in his true form and killing Vegeta.
So, did all that struggle against Freeza's forms take place in "several minutes" or is this a more egregious underestimation than Freeza's estimate for Namek's explosion?
Did Vegeta inherit his sense of timing from Freeza?

Strange. I don't recall the manga giving a time frame after his initial estimate of 40-50 minutes before taking a nap.
