For a three-way Potara you'd need to have three earrings in the same set... which would mean they'd need to come from a Kaioshin with three ears. Or two earrings on one ear, but giving a Kaioshin three ears is more fun.
Let's say in one of the universes Zen'oh destroyed in the past, Shinjin have three ears, one of them sticking out of the back of their head like a reversed unicorn horn. So they also have three Potara, and if three people each put those Potara earrings on at the same time (one of them has to be a three-eared lifeform or they wouldn't be able to match up right, of course) they'd all fuse. It would probably have the same time limit as regular Potara -- one hour if it's all mortals fusing, permanent if one of the three was a Kaioshin (three-eared or otherwise.) Or maybe it could be an hour and a half for mortals -- 1.5x the time because there's 1.5x the earrings?
