Who do you think the villain is in the new up-coming DBS movie?

My suspicion is that it's a reboot on Broly so that he can be properly canon-ized as seen by Toriyama. Or, given the more caveman-like clothes, it could be the original Super Saiyan, possibly the one who attained Super Saiyan God. Maybe all three!

So here's my theory, but I really hope it isn't true, but maybe it'll be done right.

So, Freeza says at the end of episode 131 that he's still gonna be doing bad things and Goku replies to this by saying that he'll stop him. To get around this, Freeza would have to get rid of Goku, but he's not powerful enough to defeat him at this point especially if UI kicks in. The solution Freeza finds to this is to go to another universe and find someone willing work for him who is strong enough to defeat Goku.

I really don't want to assume the new villian is a saiyan, mostly because that would make my theory fall apart. Though, looking at all the other theories (Yamoshi, Sadala's King), it seems like just about any theory will fall apart in some way due to lack of information at this point. (That's not to say we can't try )

I think that makes sense too, but the problem is that Saiyan would probably have to come from Sadala, which would leave the question as to why they weren't put the team. This is the same problem I see with the King of Sadala argument, except this theory has the very satisfyingly ambiguous "they didn't know" as the only explanation. I would hate to make that the answer to the whole in my theory, so we'll have to wait for more information I guess. Or at least I will.
