To me it was GT Trunks. Neckerchief, khaki shorts, light tan jacket and long socks.. he just looked so ridiculous to me.

Goku. The only time he changes out of his battle Gi is when he has to work(which is quite the recent change in his life) or when Chi Chi forces him to wear something normal. Otherwise, he's always dressed for battle just like how Superman always has his suit on underneath his "Clark Kent" persona.

Speaking of Chichi, her early manga outfit has to be a contender.

Great Saiyaman 2, Gohan sort of made it work, Videl just didn't, it was so girly that Robin would be cast as Batman, she was much more scarier as a student, you could see her deadly stare.

Might Mask, there is no need to hide your true identity when you are a nobody, at least not with that awful custom that wasn't even useful in battle. Not even super saiyans could work with it.

Goku Black wore a turtleneck shirt and longsleeves, I mean how cold can a god get? the earring was cool though

Murasaki ninja wore socks and sandals, so he might win the contest.

By Chinese standards, a lot of "ridiculously dressed" characters aren't really that outlandish. Clownish by Western eyes, yes, but not necessarily "bad".

The one character I always thought looked positively dorky (but still looked cool)?

To be fair, that haircut in the 90s (he appeared early 90s, like 93?) was very popular, I had it for years, everyone did, even backstreet boys and I think Brad Pitt too. I think Trunks had it before it got worldwide

That jacket though, long sleeves but you freeze to death with the chest part

How about Yamcha's bright yellow suit and really, really, really deep-necked top? Even as a child I used to think "what the hell is that!?"

Pretty sure that's overly garish by anyone's standards.

Reminds me of Goku's bright green trousers a bit actually...

Goku, Yamcha, Krillin, Tien, Chiaotzu, Yajirobe, Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta, Future Trunks, Android 18, Goten, Trunks and Majin Buu.
