Is Jiren a successful Vegeta?

Is Jiren a successful Vegeta?

After finishing the ToP, it got me thinking. Is Jiren what Vegeta originally wanted to be? I mean before Vegeta decided to train with whis and obtain god ki. He was a strong and determined warrior who wanted to be more powerful than Goku. Without anyone’s help. However he couldn’t because his pride got in the way. Yet Jiren, actually became stronger than a god of destruction with just training on his own. Having no help from the gods or angels. He became this force of power. Is Jiren what Vegeta originally wanted to be? Or believe he could become?

I feel like Vegeta is already successful just younger probably.
