I don’t see why not. That Oozaru’s power was inside him, so maybe he tapped into it or into some of it in that brief moment.

This is actually really interesting. Of course Luke you said out of universe it doesn't work, but in-universe this could definitely serve as a reasonable explanation.

I don't believe so, if Goku had achieved such a powerup to defeat Daimao then Tenshinhan, Yajirobi, Popo, or Kami(all witnesses to the fight) would've mentioned something about it. I think its more along the lines of Gohan vs Super Perfect Cell in that Goku exhausted all his remaining Ki to launch himself at full power through Daimao, a final gambit being the powerup rather than unleashing Oozaru's power in base.

As far as I know, there is only one "full color" version. I haven't seen that page colored differently for that matter.

That's honestly wild to see. I never knew that small little detail was present in the colorized version

That eye design for Goku isn't how his eye was drawn in the original manga, so it's dubious as to whether that was anything Toriyama intended or not. Here is how it was drawn/colored in originally.
