Re: New DBH: Ulitmate Mission Series Game
So this topic's just for a new mission but not a new game, right?
Re: New DBH: Ulitmate Mission Series Game
Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission X is the new game, launch date is April 27th, 2017.
Re: New DBH: Ulitmate Mission Series Game
Right, a new DB Heroes 3ds game. I almost forgot they were porting these to 3ds.

3DS? Aw man, that's lame. It's still just using the Dragon Ball Heroes name though, so maybe Super Heroes will get a Switch port in a year or so.

Not expecting a Western release on this, but it'll be interesting to see how and what the game does.
Love the art and shading style on that cover!

It seems this game will allow the player to wander around, not being stuck in fights and such. Maybe it'll be like Pokémon? That would be awesome.
Also, that image in the left corner shows villains with red eyes... That's something kinda new. Should we expect a little in-depth about it in the arcade game?

The Ultimate Mission are, in my opinion, the best Dragon Ball games in last years.
I'm expecting this game with so much hype !

This image says "the Kais of the 10 Universes" over on the left side. Is it mistranslated, or are they ignoring two Universes?Grimlock wrote:

What do you mean by "ignoring two Universes"?

There's 12 Universes, but it says "the Kais of the 10 Universes". Either that was a mistranslation on the scan, or the game is dropping two of the twelve Universes.Grimlock wrote:What do you mean by "ignoring two Universes"?
Re: "DBH: Ultimate Mission X" Official Discussion Thread
Oh, when I first read it, I thought they would make Kaios of Universe 10 to appear, but now that you mentioned... I have no idea.
Re: "DBH: Ultimate Mission X" Official Discussion Thread
Do these games have a storyline? Also how similar is the 3DS game to the arcade game?
Re: "DBH: Ultimate Mission X" Official Discussion Thread
It's probably a mistranslation because that picture is for the overworld of the "Rebellious Zamasu" arc.Anime Kitten wrote:There's 12 Universes, but it says "the Kais of the 10 Universes". In UM1 & 2 there are a "story mode" in wich you follow the main events of the manga/anime/ovas, and an "arcade mode" with the missions you can select from the arcade cabinet.gipset wrote:Do these games have a storyline? Also how similar is the 3DS game to the arcade game?
In UM1 the story mode it's just like arcade mode with some cards predefined (to match the story events) with crappy cutscenes, in UM2 you are free to flight over the Dragon Ball world mainly to find fights, cards or follow the story mode. In UM2 the cutscenes come back (lame as usual) as separated events.
I wish they add a "free" game mode where you can fight versus the CPU to test your heroes.
Re: "DBH: Ultimate Mission X" Official Discussion Thread
In my heart of hearts, I am sincerely hoping this makes it out to the US / Global Release. All the uptick of Dragon Ball in the last few years (Super going to CR, Dokkan, Fusions, etc.) is making me more hopeful than with the previous two releases for the 3DS.
As someone who played UM2 on a Japanese 3DS, I can truly appreciate this game series and hope to see it properly distributed to everyone else.
Fingers crossed.

Question:
Did DBHUM2 included all previous content from DBHUM1 (card wisely)?
If that's the case, and DBHUMX does the same, it would be perfect for it to be the definitive version to be translated to american markets

Is saying mistranslation a trend or something here?alakazam^ wrote: It's probably a mistranslation because that picture is for the overworld of the "Rebellious Zamasu" arc.

Hmm interesting. The gameplay doesn't really look that appealing to me but hey the more DB games the merrier.Metis Connetis wrote:In UM1 & 2 there are a "story mode" in wich you follow the main events of the manga/anime/ovas, and an "arcade mode" with the missions you can select from the arcade cabinet.gipset wrote:Do these games have a storyline? It did and Ultimate Mission X will include everything up to the last DBH set. The games also use your previous game's save sata to include the cards you already have.DragonBallLove wrote:Question:

But it is. A mission wasn't ordered, we travel with them. And "Kaioushins of the 10 Universes" doesn't make sense in context. While the text is cut off, the assumption should be "Universe 10".TheGameTagerZ wrote:Is saying mistranslation a trend or something here?
