So, YBM has been asking for this for a while now, and since I'm in the giving mood, I've compiled a complete list of VHS releases. I'm pretty confident in mostly all of the dates, but if you can prove me wrong, please do! I don't think it helps that I never paid much attention to the VHS releases. I included all of the moves, but opted to leave out the box sets because I'm lazy and tired of looking up dates. Be sure you pay attention to the fact that like the DVDs, many tapes were released out of order or skipped. I also have all of the VHS cover art, but for the sake of conserving space, I'm not going to post them all. Enjoy~!

That's how it was. Heck, I think all of Robotech and Star Blazers were released back in the day with only 2 eps per tape.

As for the tapes, for DBZ I have a lot of the first 2 seasons on either those releases or taped off CN, though missing some of season 2. Got Frieza ones of the Goku-Frieza fight, and Trunks-Imperfect Cell tapes and Great Saiyaman tapes.

That's what I thought, but in fact, VHS tapes were shipped as late as October 2008, when the last company still producing them sent out its final truckload.

As much as I hate contributing to this eight-year-old thread bump, I'm pretty sure ABED is right on that one. I do think Frieza: The Summoning and Frieza: Transformation came out at the same time, but it certainly wasn't November. Those two were out before season 3 began airing in September because those two tapes were my introduction to the season 3 changes.

At least where I lived they all came out around the same time. I remember going into my local Target and they had both Ginyu tapes and Frieza: The Summoning through at least Death of a Prince there in the edited form out on the same day.
