Chapter Synopsis

Goku continues racing down Serpent Road, and says he has a bad feeling. Meanwhile, Nappa wants to kill every one of them, and Kuririn can’t believe Chiaotzu sacrificed himself for nothing. Tenshinhan gets seriously pissed, and says that Chiaotzu’s already been returned to life by the Dragon Balls once before. Nappa tells him he can send him to meet the little shit in the afterlife right now. Piccolo whispers to Kuririn and Gohan that Nappa likes to attack in brief instances, and so that’s when they should strike.

Vegeta tells them that’s a good plan, and says if they look away, they’ll miss their chance. Piccolo tells him he won’t be laughing when Son Goku comes. Vegeta wonders who that is, as Nappa then flies down toward Tenshinhan. Piccolo and Kuririn take note, and then Piccolo flies in and punches Nappa in the face, sending him flying toward Kuririn. Kuririn pounds him down toward the ground, and Piccolo yells at Gohan to blast him.

But Gohan just stands there quivering, and so Kuririn and Piccolo have to do it themselves. But they’re too late and Nappa easily dodges. Tenshinhan decides he’ll attack on Chiaotzu’s behalf, and that he’ll go, too. Tenshinhan charges up, looks up toward Nappa, and then screams, “Kikōhō!!!!!” Nappa gets hit by the Kikōhō, but is only a bit scraped up. Tenshinhan falls over, and Vegeta mocks the idiot who died for nothing. Kuririn then screams, “Gokuuuuu!!! Please hurry!!!!”

One warm day, I waxed my car for the first time in a year. I was amazed at how good my car looked with its colors rejuvenated. <Akira>

Page Breakdown

The majority of the Dragon Ball series was drawn in black and white, but chapters were occasionally published with color pages. This breakdown notes how many full-color, limited-color, and black-and-white pages appeared in this chapter. As the tankōbon volumes were not released with these colors intact, any color pages shown are taken from the kanzenban release.
