On 22 March (Sat.) from 9 p.m., the movie Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, which opened last year, will be broadcast on Fuji TV’s Premium Saturday. For its first terrestrial broadcast, this work will be an “Akira Toriyama Special Version!” edited to match the program’s timeslot (about 120 minutes).
Then, from 06 April (Sun.), every week at 9 a.m. on Fuji TV, Dragon Ball Kai: Majin Boo Arc will start. Actually, this work is something [that was started] even before Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, produced in secret over about a year. It’s planned to be aired widely overseas, as well.
Being just barely of the “real-time” [generation]1, while I am burdened by the weight of the spell of the original score by the great master Shunsuke Kikuchi, which remains strongly in my memory, I enjoyed having the honor of composing. Please look forward to it!!
