Namco-Bandai is delivering just in the nick of time, having promised an October 2013 release timeframe: Dragon Ball RPG: Shōnen-hen (“Boyhood Arc”) is now available on both Android and iOS devices. The company also unveiled a new trailer to promote the game:
The Android version requires Gingerbread (2.3) or higher and is available via the Google Play store. The game is a Version 1.0 release and will take up 20 MB of storage.
The iOS version requires 4.3 or higher and is available via Apple’s iTunes / App Store. The game is already at a Version 1.0.1 release and will take up 42 MB of storage. It is optimized for the iPhone 5.
The game will run you ¥400 and currently requires a Japanese account to purchase.
Dragon Ball RPG: Boyhood Arc is the second current-generation mobile game for the franchise, coming not so long after Tap Battle (also for Android and iOS).

Woah, I think the game is repurposing the artwork from Tenka’ichi Dai-Bouken. O.o
More like the artwork from Advanced Adventure, actually.
The game looks similar to ”Attack of the Saiyans”.
Wait. A Dragon Ball game that actually looks cool! 😯
Re-skinned “Attack of the Saiyans”. Which is not a bad thing at all; that game was superb!
