The new Dragon Ball figure series Chōzōshū not only means Chō (high quality) zō (figure) shū (collection), it also means integrating the experience and craftsmanship of a model maker involved in the creation of Dragon Ball figures for many years.
Each figure was designed and created by famed sculptor Hiroyuki Nakazawa, who has sculpted over 100 figures for the Dragon Ball franchise in the last 15 years and has been a participant in every Zōkei Tenka’ichi Budōkai (“World’s Best Model Tournament”). The five figures will see short releases over the next few months, and are set to include:
- Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Son Goku (21 April 2015)
- Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegeta (14 May 2015)
- Son Gohan (19 May 2015)
- Golden Freeza (Scheduled Mid-June 2015)
- Piccolo (Scheduled Mid-July 2015)
All of the figures are roughly 15 cm (~6 inches) in height, with Piccolo being the tallest at 17 cm (~6.5 inches).

OK, am I the only person who thinks “Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan” is the stupidest name for a form ever?
I like how they are just like Toriyama’s drawings.
But why in the name of Dende does Freeza have a navel?
So girls can pierce his navel and put a barbel through :P?
