“Dragon Ball Fusions” (3DS) American Update Set For February 13

The American branch of Bandai Namco has confirmed the promised free update for Dragon Ball Fusions on the Nintendo 3DS set to hit 13 February 2017. The update will roughly bring the game in line with the Japanese version, whose 2.1.0 and 2.2.0 updates brought additional functionality (such as online battles) and new characters (specifically those from the “Future Trunks arc” of Dragon Ball Super).

A free DRAGON BALL Fusions downloadable update will be released on February 13, 2017 that will implement online battles, an online special moves trading function, new characters, new fusion possibilities, and more.

The European version of the game — set for launch next week on 17 February 2017will receive a free “Day One Patch” also bringing the game up-to-date with its international peers.

Dragon Ball Fusions, developed by Ganbarion for Bandai Namco, is the latest Dragon Ball franchise portable video game and is exclusively available on the Nintendo 3DS. The game has sold upward of 170,000 copies thus far in Japan and has received three free updates. The game was released in America 22 November 2016 and is set for a release in Europe 17 February 2017.
