The “Future Saga” paid downloadable content series for Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2 is gearing up for its third chapter, featuring an all-new mode starring characters from the 2018 theatrical film Dragon Ball Super: Broly:
Four chapters are expected for the “Future Saga” series, with the first and second packs releasing back in May and November 2024, respectively.
UPDATE: Bandai Namco later confirmed that Chapter 3 of the “Future Saga” series will be released 30 October 2025.
A separate “Dragon Ball Daima Pack” was also released earlier this year in May, which added:
- 2 New Playable Characters: Super Saiyan 4 Goku (DAIMA), Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta (DAIMA)
- 3 New Parallel Quests
- 6 Additional Moves
- 8 Costumes/Accessories
- 2 Super Souls
- 8 Illustrations
Developed by Dimps for Bandai Namco, Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2 is available worldwide for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC (via Steam), and Nintendo Switch. In North America, the game launched for consoles 25 October 2016 with a PC release following 28 October 2016. In Europe, the game launched across all platforms 28 October 2016. In Japan, the game launched on the PlayStation 4 console 02 November 2016. The Nintendo Switch port was released in Japan and internationally in September 2017. Since its launch, the game has consistently received additional paid downloadable content packs since its release above and beyond the originally-promised support timeframe.
