Arc Synopsis
After winning the Tenka’ichi Budōkai, Goku and Chi-Chi head off to get married. Gyūmaō insists Chi-Chi wears her mother’s wedding dress, but then suddenly Gyūmaō and the dress get trapped in the castle by impenetrable flames. To stop the fire, Goku and Chi-Chi travel to the Mountain of Five Elements to extinguish the Furnace of Eight Divinations, but An’nin won’t allow such a thing. An’nin notices that Goku has the Bashō Fan and says that it can create an opening in the furnace’s flames, allowing them to plug up the hole in the furnace. Since Goku already has the honey from Grandma Hakkake and the shell of the Fire-Eating Bird’s egg, both of which are required to do this, he is able to seal up the hole in the furnace!! The castle’s fire dies down, and Goku and Chi-Chi’s wedding ceremony proceeds safely.
