With the Announcement of the Sequel to Tenkaichi 3 coming nearly 15 years after its debut in 2007, Do you guys think it’s possible for the Budokai series to get a reboot?

Hopefully, with the success of Sparking! Zero, we can see the rebirth of the Budokai games. The last real attempt they made at refreshing the Budokai series was with Burst Limit, which had so much potential, albeit being an unfinished game. You never know.

Not a Tenkaichi fan but i'm excited nonetheless. With them bringing back such an old series maybe this can open up the door for a new Budokai styled game too?

I honestly feel like this was a filler game to gather more time for a big game in the likes of Xenoverse , FighterZ and Kakarot. While the smart thing to do is release a sequel to the above franchises, I would love a new 2.5D game with the charm of the PS2 iterations.

2023 is right around the corner, any logical guess on what the 2023 console game might be? I don't think DLC counts for already existing games. My guess is a Sequel to FighterZ

The Japanese's anniversary of Budokai is February 13th so I really hope they acknowledge it and do something special, maybe they will announce something at the Dragonball games battle hour 2023.

That has its pros and cons cause they could be working on something that turns out to be very good or something terrible for all that time.

Budokai 1 turned 20 years old on November 2nd this week, its crazy to think its been that long since that game came into existence. With the release of Breakers, I don't think it will be long before we hear rumors of the next game. I'm praying they do something interesting, I appreciate them for trying something different for Breakers but they kind of missed the mark with this one.
