For Tien at least, I don't think he needs a new form. If he gets his potential unlocked, he'll likely gain sizeable increase in ability. He has the potential to be God like, if he can use the power of True Seeing.

Since he's not in super sayain he doesn't have to keep up the strain of the Super saiyan transformation, so it doesn't tax his ki source. So he should be able to use the Full power of SSJ2.

Assuming that its the same as LSSJ, LSSJ3 Broly may be even more powerful than Mystic Gohan. If it gain energy instead of losing that massive amount of energy, Broly would be far more powerful than a normal Super saiyan 3

Piccolo being beaten so bad doesn't make much sense. Couldn't he just have use the special beam cannon to raise his power level higher than Nappa's and beat him that way?

What if Goku never died in the battle with raditz, but Raditz still did? This time, Piccolo died moments after Raditz died. Goku never met King Kai and they still knew a Saiyan was coming to earth. Nappa was the only Saiyan that came to earth. Assume Nappa would dodge Destructo Disc if he saw it.
