Re: Official On-Going Dragon Ball Super Movie Thread: "Broly"

Thanks for the heads up on Aus release. I'm in UK at the moment and was thinking about picking it up here but now might just wait.

Re: "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot" Official Discussion Thread

I watched the gameplay footage and it's done nothing for me. Guess I just won't ever get into DB games ever again (last game I bought day one etc was Ultimate Blast that scarred me off DB games for life! Lol.) I don't blame you haha. Man that game sucked and had such little merit. The game play loo...

Yay called it!
Called what? Did I miss something?
Just saying that project z would appear in Xbox conference. There is some awesome looking game play through IGN if people haven't seen that.

I don't expect to see XV2 unless stadia are showing it off.

Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread

I am saying it deserves the longevity it has received. When was the last time a Dragon Ball game was relevant longer than 3 months after release? Fighterz and XV2 are really sticking around and I think that's a good thing. Although I have no objections to a XV3 announcement. Speaking of announcement...

Crazy, this game don't die lol I think it deserves it, with all the additional content its made quite a name for itself in the Dragon Ball game legacy.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" FUNimation Dub Official Discussion Thread

This was a good return to form in my opinion, largely in fact due to the Universe 6 Saiyans especially Cabba's VA who shone especially bright here, Clifford Chapin is his name. Didn't realise he has had some other huge roles including Bakugo from MHA, that's awesome. His performance was so spirited...

Why is everyone set on that being Elder Moori? It could just be any old Namekian unless I'm missing something.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

It's interesting to me that they showed the Namekian for whatever the final wish was. Now if only we had a way to translate it... Haha please let us know what it says. It is cool they allowed the most hardcore of fans that actually would know where to find a Namekian translator to find out the twis...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" FUNimation Dub Official Discussion Thread

Rawly Pickens (one of the main ADR Director and Engineers of Super's Funimation dub) caught wind of the script error during the post-airing Twitter chatter of last night's episode of Ep.111. He states that they'll "snag it for sure", most likely in the home release similar to previous flubs (ex: Ve...

Re: "SDBH: World Mission" Official Discussion Thread

I'm really enjoying this game as a puzzle game lol, trying to solve all the ultra completion and legendary completions. The Beerus and Whis first arcade mission was awesome, had to figure out a way to super with the whole team before killing them, which also required me to keep my CI low (or get rea...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" FUNimation Dub Official Discussion Thread

Was it just me or did the instruments also sound different for Ultimate Battle, like they had to redo the whole track? I was far from impressed with this dub episode, considering what a moment it was in the JP screening. I even found myself dissapointed in Ian Sinclair's performance. Whis being happ...

Re: "Dragon Ball FighterZ" Official Discussion Thread

Anyone complaining about the roster doesn't understand that this game wasn't going to have a large roster. Arc Sys have done an amazing job cramming as much of the series as possible into everyone. Almost every major character or form is represented some how, arguably apart from Raditz. The way they...

Re: Is Future Trunks' SSJ2 A Form That Is Unique To Him?

Was it a Toriyama interview that said at the heart of it, Super Saiyan 2 and 3 are simply extensions of the original Super Saiyan. The show always simply portrayed it as 3 > 2 > 1 so I think it makes it very difficult for fans to comprehend the fact that Trunks SSJ2 is stronger than Goku SSJ3. As th...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" FUNimation Dub Official Discussion Thread

I feel like they've all been done fairly poorly honestly. The worst one was that one goes like 'woooooooooooaaahhhh wooooaaahh woah woah', that was a joke. Yoka Yoka dance was good but apart from that, they probably should have just kept the original Japanese endings.
