Re: What is more satisfying?
People seem to judge Goku based off their own moral standards rather than anything open minded. Blazing in and vaporzing Gero before he actually did anything like the fuzzing Punisher is not what I would call heroic. Goku's morality is pure and more Superman-like. actually, goku did say they can't k...

Re: What is more satisfying?
Selfish isn't the word to describe that. Foolish and reckless and even arrogant all apply to Goku, but selfish would imply he doesn't care if innocent people are killed. He does care, and a lot at that. He just wasn't thinking about that because Goku lacks big picture thinking skills. Can we really...

Re: Do sneak attacks really work in Z?
I think him getting scraped was meant to show how his body wasn't well trained anymore. It seems like he had no intention of blocking the bullet. yes, that's exactly the intention of the writers, but it makes no sense, how could goku be hurt by a bullet? not even the so famous "I don't train"...

Re: Do sneak attacks really work in Z?
... a tiny rock thrown at Goku at low speed managed to make him scream in pain while he was sleeping as a super saiyan - an event that wouldn't even warrant blinking at if he was on guard. Pretty sure we can scale this to full on death from a bullet. Also all the other examples people have given. I...

Re: Do sneak attacks really work in Z?
Sneak attacks in Dragon Ball are just like in real life, they work. If a person threw a punch at my stomach then I could tense up and reduce the damage however if I was distracted it would do a lot more damage then if I seen it coming and had time to react, that's why "king hits" to the t...

Re: do sneak attacks really work in Z?
The concept at least has foundation within the main series. We know that characters need to raise their ki consciously in order to use their full strength, and we've seen characters get thrown away by characters who are dozens of times weaker just because they didn't see it coming. Super takes it t...

Re: do sneak attacks really work in Z?
All the time. Not necessarily for huge damage, but sneak attacks and pinballing a stronger opponent around forms the crux of Kuririn and Piccolo's strategy against Nappa. Piccolo is capable of knocking Freeza away with a sneak attack so Goku can complete the Genki Dama. Trunks and Goten manage to s...

Re: Where do all the Ki blasts that missed and sail off into space go?
z-fighters seems to have some control over their ki blasts even after they were fired, then I think they can erase the ki attacks in the outer space.

Re: did toriyama go too far with videl's beatdown
Meanwhile none of the main characters are white men, and there has been violence aimed at pretty much all nationalities in Dragonball yet I don't see much complaints. Not only all nationalities but also aliens  . dbz killed a entire race of green men and exploded the Earth,it has already gone ...

Do sneak attacks really work in Z?
Goku's "letting his guard down" weakness was ridiculous enough, but now we have him being hurt by a random gunman, didn't they have any better excuse to show that goku was rusty?
Do we have any exemple of sneak attacks being as OP as kiezan in Z ?

Re: Do we actually underestimate the intended level of Pui Pui?
1) Goku's comments suggest otherwise. In addition to not having any life that could be detectable, he reacted in confusion to Spopovitch firing a ki blast, stating that he seems to have power beyond his own abilities. If they could sense that (or anything, for that matter) from him from the get go,...

Re: Do we actually underestimate the intended level of Pui Pui?
There's a fair bit of anecdotal evidence supporting that Babi-di's men can't be sensed at all. Spopovitch and Yam were stated to have no life energy that could be detected at all. Goku: “Like I thought, that Spopovitch guy is weird…He seems too fine, despite the fact that he should have taken so mu...

Re: If he was serious like in Fusion Reborn, Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta would beat anything and anyone from any Dragon Ball c
if gogeta ssj4 appared in super timeline,he would somehow get stronger because of power level logic in super.
let`s face it. trunks ssj2 went from weaker than ssj3 goku to being able to go toe-to-toe with black and zamasu.
just give him a random rage boost,he would be able to destroy all universes.

Re: Why don't ki blasts destroy the planet when they hit the ground?
Zamasu and Black are weaker than Namek freeza    In the Manga, I do not remember any high powered stray ki blast (post semi-cell level) to directly hit the ground. This makes sense, as even in cell vs goku battle, earth eas threatened by every ki blast which was seriously charged or ...

Re: Would Super Saiyan 4 have made Son Goku from the Majin Buu Arc stronger than both Ultimate Gohan and Super Buu?
He's a pacifist who from the time he was little has dreamed of becoming a scholar, rather than fighting. Because he is half Saiyan and half Earthling, his latent power is above average, but since he doesn't like voluntarily fighting or training, it was essential that he be trained by Piccolo and hi...

Is Black really trying to kill all humans?
Freeza said he could do that in one hour.
Buu did it in less than a minute.
and how could any member of resistence survive a encounter with Black? he so fast to them that it is like he can pause the time.
do you think Black just enjoys the hunt and it is zamasu who wants all humans died?
