Besides that, everything was bang on perfection.

The more modern Dragon ball continues, the more the OG story gets ruined and retconned. Basically Goku's origin was a lie at this point lol. It's times like these that makes me miss how classical the old Dragon ball was, before all this new fanservice glossy animation shit started.

If Super had shown the kind of art and animation from eps 130-131 to the entire series, then yeah. Super would have been far more enjoyable, and maybe even greater than Z.
