Re: Are the Saiyans Massively faster than light by the time of Super?

- Jaco confirmed that Dragonball’s Earth is situated in the Milky Way. - Planet Cereal is located in the Milky Way. - The various locations Goku teleported to during this battle were all located in the Milky Way – evident from the presence of the Galactic Patrol, Galactic King and Galactic Prison. T...

Re: Are the Saiyans Massively faster than light by the time of Super?

As it has already been pointed out about the travelling speed of Super Gotenks, the correct answer is 1000Km/s or around Mach 3000 or 1/300th of the speed of light. That was the lowballing figure by the way. A higher ball figure could easily be from x3 to x6 that. So we are talking about 1/100th to ...

Re: Are the Saiyans Massively faster than light by the time of Super?

Clearly the speed feats in Dragonball have been inconsistent with some of the statements. But in any case clearly travelling speed and fighting speed are very different magnitudes. For example even as early as the Red ribbon army arc we have amazing speed feats which can be calculated. Tao Pai Pai t...

Re: The TRUE timeline of Dragonball

So in chapter 77 we get further confirmation that the invasion of the Cerealians' planet happened 40 years before current time. It repeats for one more time that these events took place 40 years earlier. It is 3 times now that it is stated to be 40 years without anything preceding this number. No “a...

Re: The TRUE timeline of Dragonball

All I will say is that my TRUE timeline (and its reasoning) has been 100% vindicated by Dragonball Super Oh, so that's the problem. Going solely by Dragon Ball Super, known for its many mistakes. Well, if it's "yours" then I don't need to worry about, I guess. But imagine placing Majin Bu...

Re: The TRUE timeline of Dragonball

The "true timeline" is completely off. May I ask the reasoning behind the wrong dates? You wouldn't really be making this comment or asking this question if you had actually bothered to read the thread. You can find the entire reasoning behind each date in all of by previous posts/answers...

Re: The TRUE timeline of Dragonball

In chapter 69 of the DBS manga Granolah says that the planet of Sugarians was actually the planet of Cerealians 40 years ago (it stopped being so when the city was ravaged by Freeza’s army (Saiyans) and all Cerealians (except Granolah) were killed). Then in chapter 71 Granolah says “it’s 50 years ov...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

Pretty sure that Goku saying “let me fight him as an Earthling from here on” means that he will use the Mafuba (a unique technique invented by an Earthling (Master Mutaito) to defeat to powerful non-Earthling (Piccolo Daimao)) and seal Moro up (he is pure evil after all) instead of killing him.

Re: Could The Entire Z-Senshi(Freeza & Broly too) Take On An Angel?

I believe that although Beerus was written in a way that his strength would serve as the ultimate benchmark for the heroes and villains/antagonists throughout Dragonball Super, the angels were written to be the mighty cosmic beings whose strength and abilities stay out of reach forever. Much like th...

Re: The base Saiyajins in the Boo saga

First I would like to start by saying that this is the first time I have seen anybody anywhere making this bizarre claim that Buucolo was base Gotenks + Piccolo and that Piccolo is stronger than post ROSAT base Gotenks. My first would be that it's a claim. "Bizzarre" only when given the p...

Re: The base Saiyajins in the Boo saga

They could be anywhere: Piccolo's coming out stronger than base Gotenks in Evil Boo's absorption and Babidi or Dabura's statement about their energy was without the characters using it for power. That’s not true. Piccolo came out stronger than base Goten and base Trunks unfused, NOT stronger than b...

Re: Would Training With Daishinkan Produce The Best Results For Fighters?

This question is akin to asking "Would the absolute best Professor of Mathematics in existence be better at teaching maths to a grade 1 pupil than a good elementary-school teacher?". Would it really make any difference if a kid is taught that 6÷2=3 from the elementary school teacher or the...

Re: Pure Boo > Evil Boo makes more narrative sense?

For consistency that “we” had to be used in the same fashion. Either Goku is not counting his SSJ3 form during those statements or he does. You can’t have it both ways. This leaves two scenarios. The first is that he is just referring to their SSJ2 forms. That also means the statement inside Super ...

Re: Pure Boo > Evil Boo makes more narrative sense?

The obvious narrative intent for making Buu (kid Buu) physically smaller (alongside the implicit assumption that he should have been weakened due to the removal of a powerful absorption (good Buu)) was to have contrast of emotions and subversion of expectations. Toriyama even went out of his way to ...

Re: I Prefer the Dragon Ball Super Trilogy to Nolan’s

You trying to say this thread's premise is akin to comparing Margot Robbie to Susan Boyle? This person just doesn't know what "subjective" and "objective" actually mean. He's displayed it in a collection of cases at this point. I am actually curious which other past cases you ha...

Re: I Prefer the Dragon Ball Super Trilogy to Nolan’s

This is one of the most absurd threads on this board. When it comes to craftsmanship, storytelling in ALL areas from the cinematography to the actors' choices to the script, not to mention sheer production value - there is literally NO comparison. Anyone who chooses anything but the nolan films has...

Re: Vegetto SS3 BoG < SSJGod < Base Gogeta?

Headcanon doesn’t contradict anything. It’s simply a fan idea that describes which Dragon Ball stories they think are canon. It doesn’t apply to this case. Anyway, if SSGod has 60% of Beerus’ full power, assume SSBlue has that percentage at minimum. If we multiply that level by 2, it becomes 120%. ...

Re: Vegetto SS3 BoG < SSJGod < Base Gogeta?

Some people here are focusing too much on weather Vegetto could go SSJ3 in BoGs but that is completely irrelevant to this apparent inconsistency. During Battle of Gods, Goku after he was nonchalantly beaten by Beerus, stated that even fusion wouldn’t work. Then Goku turned Super Saiyan God and the p...

Re: The TRUE timeline of Dragonball

In the Broly movie the day that Freeza was announced as the new emperor to the Saiyans is placed at 41 years before present day. Five years later we have the events of Dragonball Minus where baby Goku is put in a pot and sent to Earth followed by Freeza blowing up planet Vegeta. Given the known time...
