Re: January 7: Dub Day thoughts

Goten's voice was horrendous, it was way too babyish for my liking. It's a shame too, he's one of my favorite characters :(

Re: Your fondest memories related to DB?

1.) Watching Dragon Ball Kai for the first time on nicktoons. (it was the vegeta fight) 2.) Seeing Goku go super Saiyan for the first time and begging my mom to wait for the episode to end before we went grocery shopping. 3.)Watching awful quality episodes of Dragon Ball on Youtube up to the red rib...

Re: What do you think about Sean schemmel deleting his twitter?

It feels a bit immature of him. This happens to people like him everyday. I understand deleting twitter but telling him f you is a bit drastic.

While Dragon Ball Z has been popular since the early 2000's with the original dub, I've seen many people in my age group (15-18) still love and keep up with dragon ball. I think kai's popularity and effect on the dragon ball community in the west is underappreciated. I'm 16 and was introduced to DB ...

Re: Will Cabba and Hit play a important role in the future??

I really liked all of the U6 characters (Except maybe Frost). It'd be a shame to see them go to waste. I could see the U6 team reassembling for the universal tournament that will probably be after the Black Arc. I'd like to see them again even if for a brief period of time. I'm almost positive we'll...

Re: If you were sent into another world like Beat what would you have become and done?

I think people underestimate how difficult it is to learn to fly. For the longest time, The Crane School were the only humans in the world who knew how, but even then, not all members of the Crane School were capable because Taopaipai evidently never learned to do it. When Krillin started flying at...

Re: Did anyone else get into Dragon Ball long after it had aired on North American TV?

Nope, I didn't get into Dragon Ball until around 2009-2010, when Kai was airing on Nicktoons. To think it's been so long is crazy. Prior to that I had only seen dragon ball in one other form and that was through a friend who owned BT3.

I'd learn how to fly like videl first. That seems like a really neccessary skill. I'd also buy a bunch of capsules and explore the world. The capsules would make life so convenient.

Re: The Dark Transitional Shift

Despite its flaws, the U6 tournament arc did not disappoint me that much (besides the under utilization of Piccolo), so I have high hopes for this arc, whether or not it's dark. I just hope it manages to take note from the Piccolo Daimo arc, one of my favorite arcs in the franchise.

Re: Official Goku Black Thread: Your thoughts before June 12

I'm expecting the villian to simply be named "Black", and is simply a weak entity on his own. He is probably a makaioshin who then sticks onto trunk's time machine and travels with him to the past, where he then infects goku. That would be the best way of allowing an enemy from the other t...

Most Attractive Man in Dragon Ball?

I hope that I'm not frowned upon for this, due to it possibly being irrelvent, but as I get older I'm starting to see the characters in a new light. While sure, the women are attractive, there are only a few that actually have a part in the story itself. With a cast of primarily buff males, there ar...

Re: Best way to watch Android Saga?

The original Z because Wakamoto's Cell was excellent in that era. The original's Kikuchi placements are much better too. If you prefer the Kai pacing, watch it in Japanese with Yamamoto's score if you can. Thanks! I'm probably going to watch all of the original broadcast after I finish the android ...

Best way to watch Android Saga?

I grew up on the old Nicktoons broadcast of Kai back around 2010ish. Now that Future Trunks is returning in Super, I plan to marathon the whole Android arc/Trunks arc to celebrate his return. My only issue is choosing which way to watch it. I refuse to watch the original English dub for Z, because i...
