Re: Special - The Unofficial One Piece Podcast: "Cross Epoch"

This is many years later, of course, but this podcast no longer can be downloaded from your feed. I couldn't find it on the One Piece podcast's site either.

Re: Episode #0455 (07 October 2018)

You missed something: They didn't segregate the anime because they were out of room, they segregated the anime because AnimeNYC is having a convention in November and they wanted their own "convention" to compete with it.

Re: Ridiculous planets

The size of the mountains and valleys on a planet depends on the gravty, not the size of the planet. If Kaio's planet is really small, but has Earth-like or even Vegeta-like gravity at the surface, it's not going to be round unless it was deliberately molded that way. Besides, it has trees and a hou...

Link to secret wedding podcast (2008) is broken

It's in the RSS feed but doesn't actually download. I have not been able to manually create an URL that can download it, either.

Re: Episode #0428 (08 October 2017)

The reason why people referred to Megazone 23 part II back in the day is that Megazone 23 part 2 specifically had an early dub created in the 1980's and which led to it being passed around through tape trading as one of the few translated anime available. I found this page by quick Googling: http://...

Re: For the Press Archive

"Winter 1991" means the winter at the start of the year (issue 3 is Fall 1991) so it is the first.

And no, there is no Dragonball content in the other issues.

Review of Harmony Gold's Dragonball The Movie from issue 2 of Markalite magazine (Winter 1991). (Markalite was a magazine dedicated mostly to tokusatsu and lasted 3 issues.)

Re: Doujinshi Explosion (Fully English Translated)

The error is that files are named .zip when they should be .7z, since they were 7z compressed.

Re: Doujinshi Explosion (Fully English Translated)

Yeah, thanks for the scans.

For the .zip I just wanted to point out an error.

And I didn't know that the colored pages were colored by different people.

Re: Doujinshi Explosion (Fully English Translated)

The .zip files should really be .7z in this... also, this seems inconsistent as to whether colored pages are included in the regular chapters.

Re: Doujinshi Explosion (Fully English Translated)

please let me know if anyone would prefer a download link instead, I'll see what I can do. Okay, do you have a download link? And a version without watermarks? Watermarks are nice for getting credit, but they're pretty terrible where it's 10 years later and the only version that exists on the Inter...

Re: Wish limitations?

Doesn't the dragon from the Black Star dragonballs have fewer limitations? The wiki says that Ultimate Shenron can grant any wishes, which I am skeptical of, but he probably is less limited than the one from the standard Dragonballs.

Is Frieza affected by lava?

We know that he threw Goku into lava, and we know that his ship fell into lava, but has there ever been anything shown which has him surviving lava, or even fire or great heat?

Cooler was thrown into the sun, but the sun is a lot hotter than lava.

Re: How long does Multi-Form last?

I keep thinking of Naruto, but his clones work differently. I've seen a reference to Piccolo using the technique to train against himself, but does anyone know what episode thats from (or has a Youtube clip)? Are the clones independent or is one mind controlling several bodies (I would assume that b...

How long does Multi-Form last?

There's a reference on the Dragonball wiki and at least one other place saying that Tien uses it when harvesting crops. If he's doing that, he has to keep it going for a substantial time, not just a couple of seconds in combat. However, that reference seems to be from a Toriyama interview that does ...

English guidebooks/manga?

The Kanzenshuu site has a section for manga volumes, and a section for official databooks. However, these are only about databooks and manga volumes in Japanese. What official Japanese databooks are in English, either because they were originally published in English in Japan, or because they were t...

Re: Super Saiyan Transformation and "Tingling Backs"

Android Saga: Trunks goes super without explanation (until later) and Vegeta completely throws away the Pure of Heart requirement. Didn't Vegeta claim he was "pure evil"? It was stupid, granted, but the requirement wasn't completely thrown away. Also, not everyone rejects GT. Gokuu Jr. we...

Re: Help with a Saiyan name

What counts as a "normal human name" in your fanfic's context? Because in the Dragon Ball world, we have Earthlings named after things like underwear, Chinese food dishes, and literally just a Japanese slang term for "boobs." It's a DBZ/Worm crossover . (The character has not ap...

Help with a Saiyan name

For a fanfic I need a white female given name that is a vegetable reference, and also works as a normal human name. Does anyone have any suggestions? The best I could come up with is "Olivia". Maybe "Rosemary", but that's a spice. I found a useful thread at https://www.gamefaqs.c...
