Re: Krillin's death is still sad
The thing that made that death the most sad for me was that it was at the conclusion of the 22nd TB arc. The gang (Goku, Krillin, Yamcha, Bulma, Puar, Oolong, Roshi, Launch, and even the turtle) just reunited for the tournament after a long period of only seeing each other sporadically, so Goku basi...

Re: At what age do you personally think that someone is old enough to watch Dragon Ball?
As others have said, it depends on the child. I know I could handle the violence and sex in movies like Basic Instinct and A Nightmare on Elm Street when I was 5-6 (they were my favorites haha) but my current roommate can't even handle something toothless like the 2008 Prom Night remake. Parents kno...

Re: Do you like Kuririn?
He was also relevant in changing Goku's character growth during the original dragonBall. This. This more than anything. Over time I've taken on the mindset that a character's relevance really depends on their function in the story, not by their literal actions if that makes any sense. I'll try to e...

Re: Was Gohan's absence a big miss in the current arc?
Honestly not really the thing about Gohan is that he already had his story arc and it is complete. Bringing him back only for the sake of it will never feel as anything other than fan service for the sake of fan service. This is similar to how Vegeta should of have stayed dead after the Freeza arc ...

If you were to re-develop these characters...
A lot of characters in this series fade from relevancy after a while (Piccolo, Tien, Yamcha, Videl, 18, etc.) and we miss them because of the personalities and actions they exhibited during their time on the show. However, other now-background characters have been close to useless from the beginning...

Apparently Chiaotzu got a shout-out/homage in Naruto. Pretty funny given how strange looking he is. Mask on the left side of the panel.

Re: Back to the level sets again
Episodes 35 through 39 on the PlayStation Video service still use the Level Set footage. Has anyone capped those yet? I have an HDCP stripper and a cap card that I used to use back when PS3s were a thing. Wondering if it's worth my time capping them if they're likely to be gone soon. I've recorded ...

Re: Favorite Techniques
Puar's transformation. I could have anything and everything I want if I can look the part. I specified Puar because Oolong's 5 minute rule would be inconvenient. Good oddball choice, this is what I would pick as well if I had to choose one for my day-to-day life. Would have been interesting to see ...

Re: AMV from EP57
Back in 2010 AMV's took like months to make. I miss those days. . . Now it's all clickbait. What are you talking about? This isn't clickbait. It is what it is - an animated music video. I don't think that it's "clickbait", which is sort of a rude term to just throw out there. If you were ...

Re: DBZ AMV's
Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback! You bring up a lot of points regarding the technicals as well as the broader story of each vid I hadn't considered but should start thinking about. The beat sync was superb. Especially with the effects to enhance the beat sync. What was your method for that? W...

Re: The Rarest DBZ Video Games
I liked the video, found out about some rarities I wasn't aware of. I've never been too into those obscure special editions, but the gold Famicom cartridges toward the end of your vid would be amazing to have in my collection, as I love the DBZ RPGs on that system and the design is much better than ...

Re: DBZ AMV's
Just saw this the other day . Man, I love that song and I love the movie even more. I LOVE that video. Maybe its just me, but I always thought those cheesy 80s pop-rock songs would work REALLY well with DBZ for some reason. I messed around with a video using footage of the first three DBZ movies fo...

Re: Back to the level sets again
Seems like the service isn't available in Europe, even when using a US account. I'll probably still buy the Level Sets, they are pretty neat, and at least I'm in the know so I won't feel cheated about buying them. One day I want to buy the Dragon Boxes but no way at the moment. :o Thanks for answer...

Re: How many Dragon Ball hunts are there?
Let's see here (in order of events): There's the dual hunt by Bulma and Goku and the Pilaf Gang. The dual hunt by Goku and the Red Ribbon Army. * The hunt by Piccolo and the Pilaf Gang. Goku's hunt for the 4-star ball. (would this actually count, though?) ** The hunt by the Roshi gang after Goku's ...

Re: Most undignified death
I'm going with Chaozu in Piccolo Daimao arc. I mean, Piccolo summons Shenlong, Tenshinhan telephatically tells Chaozu to antecipate his wish, Chaozu jumps out in to the open and Piccolo kills him with a simple blast before he says a word.... just pointless. How is that pointless? I have to go with ...

Awesome work Netter75 ! The last AMV of yours I watched was the Yamcha "Until The End" video and you've improved a lot since then just by looking at this new one. Great job! I recently started making an AMV on the Goku Black arc and I just released a short teaser of it. I'm happ...

Re: Does anyone else see the Saiyan saga as being special
I hate hate HATE the Saiyan Saga. All that training for nothing. Nappa inconsistiences. Yamcha, Tenshinhan, and Chaozu dropped like flies in the first 2 minutes but Krillin and Gohan survived by the skin of their teeth. It wasn't paced correctly, it was the worst written saga in all of Z, and if Ya...

Re: Most Annoying Bulma Moments
I think shes just taking it far more seriously than the others and annoyed at how easy going Krillin and Gohan are about the whole thing. Pair that with being cramped up in a ship for a entire month with little to do and I can imagine why shed be so irritable. Oh no, I definitely got that from how ...
