Super never had tension. They ruined it the moment it was set between end of Buu arc and the end of Z. None of the artificial tension works when you know what's going to happen, everything ending up fine.

No way it is. It tries to be both, but doesn't get what made both special in it's own ways. One thing that it runs from both is consistency. It's flip flopping everywhere.

Everything that came up after the end of Z to me feels like it was a cash grab, so that'll be my answer. I loath GT and I really dislike Super. At least to Super's defense, I don't hate everything about it, just 95% of it.

His experience pails in comparison to Goku and the results shows. It's like playing a game for 20 hours. This guy could be the highest rank possible and his competition is somewhere down the middle. Not everybody learns/adapts the same.
