Jiren tends to glow his eyes when he does major attacks. Obviously Goku needs to use his ol' Rock-Paper-Scissors technique and poke his eyes out, ultimately diffusing his power and finally left eliminated.

Also they have the stands for a reason. As more get eliminated the more characters are gonna be sitting in the stands to cut back to for reaction shots and jokes.
