Re: Is DBS Krillin On Par With Namek Freeza?

Definitely. There is one small, yet important detail that gives it out. Early Moro arc Goku & Vegeta needed at least SSJ to fight off empowered Moro goons. Post training Krillin, Yamcha etc. can fight on par with fatass panda guy etc., who we have no reason to believe they've been empowered les...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

How high would you guys rank all the Z-Warriors (Gohan, Piccolo, 17, 18, Krillin, Yamcha, Tenshinhan, Chaotzu, Roshi) from the Moro arc? These are all after the 2 months of intense training for Moro's invasion and manga only. Gohan - I'm thinking he reached the strength of the Super Saiyan Blues fr...

Re: When all is said and done, who was stronger: Super Perfect Cell or SSJ2 Gohan?

There is, of course, the whole reason behind Gohan's injury to begin with: him getting hit with an attack that Cell himself described as 'casual' a few pages later, which wounded him so badly it cut his power to less than half its former glory. The common counter-argument that he was off-guard is u...

Re: Shouldn't Trunks' 2nd trip in main timeline after 3 years to help Z fighters fight androids create another alternate

It is explained in DBS: since the coordinates of the time machine weren't altered, Trunks kept travelling to the same parallel universe.

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

After lolstomping the likes of SSJ3 Goku, Ultimate Gohan, Gotenks etc 2 arcs prior, Beerus thought SSJ2 Trunks was impressive. Also, SSJ2 Goku was so strong Gowasu thought he rivaled a hakaishin and Trunks was equal to him Anime Trunks was on another level Not to mention an even more improved SSJ2 ...

Re: What are the best and worst writers who have been in Super?

Whoever wrote Zamasu as a dollar store Light Yagami and generic JRPG villain who cries when he gives speeches. Yeah, how dares a villain cry, that is so stupid and bad. Villains are supposed to be cool, and cool people dont cry. We'll just ignore that he only cried once, and that was because he was...

Re: Which Character from the Main cast would make a great god of destruction?

Definitely Piccolo. A destroyer is meant to keep a balance in the universe, to eliminate undeserving populations, and Piccolo has the intelligence to understand what needs to go and what needs to stay.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

This is something the English fandom is annoyingly guilty of. "Beerus and Whis being around killed all tension." - every movie "Beerus and Whis not doing anything kills all tension." - every arc It's complaints when the franchise does something different and complaints when it s...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

This is what I've been thinking myself too. It's too weird having Piccolo coordinating with Gohan if he is not, even remotely, in his ballpark. He should be muuuuch slower and weaker than him if he was the same Piccolo as Z, capped at SSJFP. Him being able to keep up with Gohan, survive Saganbo AND ...

Re: Super Saiyan Rosé - The Anime's interpretation (Compared to the Manga's)

It's quite simple: Blue is SS+God. God is fundamentally "Saiyan with God Ki" So Blue="a Saiyan with God Ki going Super Saiyan". Once Black perfected his mastery of Goku's Body, he could use his God Ki at full power. Stacking it with Super Saiyan resulted into "a Saiyan with...

Re: Was Vegeta virgin before Bulma?

Def a virgin. He's still shy when kissing Bulma , so I believe he's the type of man who requires physical and emotional intimacy before doing the deed. Many people and cultures (including Japan) are against showing romantic affection in public, so that doesnt really say anything either way. Also, h...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

So then is Piccolo stronger than Goku's (not current) Super Saiyan 3 then? Because Android 17 seemed to be at at least that level. I assume he is, maybe even stronger. He's more than capable of teaming up with Gohan. He wouldn't be if he was that much weaker than him. Also Goku's comment extended t...

Probably it's not "literally" SSJ1 + SSG, but more like "SSJ power/energy" + SSG, something like that. After all, Toriyama did state that SSJ2 and 3 are just enhacements of the SSJ1 form.

Re: We still don’t know much about Moro

Does he really need a backstory though? By design, it doesn't seem so. Yes, every character needs a backstory. That’s the way a show should be written, i can’t believe i even need to explain this. And Kataphrut, “less is more” does not apply to a lack of information. A lack of information is ALWAYS...
