While it is frustrating to me that the colors aren't more akin to the original broadcast, in the end I don't really care anymore. I've been holding out for the dboxes for a long, long time and I just don't want to fight anymore. I'm just gonna get the dbox and be happy with it.

So yea, even if you do notice a slight difference between the two it's much better then comparison shots from other sets. :?
Thank you so very much my good sir.

Ok so it is a calibration issue than. I'll assume mine will look like that as I have calibrated mine as well.

Thanks Corey.

I just don't understand how you (Corey) can say the skin tones stay fairly consistent throughout the series when they start out like they did in the Saiyan saga, and end up looking like that on your Kuro.

IDK I haven't put the Dbox on my calibrated TV so maybe it's just the moniter I'm using.

Was there ever any improvement between the Pioneer DVD's and the UUE's?

You can check out the "the way it was intended" with Daizenshuu or Complete TV Anime Guide. Colours of the scans of the cels from these episodes are almost identical to the screenshots I brought this time. So it confirms my previous views that I think the Dbox has too green blues, as well...

Well, the Japanese one doesn't have subtitles... so I'm guessing the US one.
Ah, good point my friend.

So what's the difference between the "max power" and "super"?

Aren't they both just using as much energy as feasibly possible for the individual?

Regardless of whether or not it was the way it was intended, I find the Dboxes to have VERY pink flesh tones.

I would expect most of the community would really appreciate if someone could do a split screen with both dragonboxes.
