Re: Dragon Ball Z Movies placement on the timeline

The answer there is pretty clear then: that movie is not canon with Super (what a shocker). And the problem is that ontradicts not only the movie but Future Trunks's plan, shown in DBZ. This must be one of Toriyama's amnesias. I disagree. Not that I'm saying Toriyama would have remembered those fil...

Re: Dragon Ball Z Movies placement on the timeline

I think you misunderstood my statement. If we accept what Gohan said in DBS about not having seen Future Trunks since Cell's defeat, then that creates a plothole as for why Future Trunks didn't go to the main timeline, one more time, to tell, he had defeated the cyborgs, as he had planned, and was ...

Re: Dragon Ball Z Movies placement on the timeline

Now, I've noticed a problem with Bojack Unbound is that, in DBS, Gohan said to Future Trunks they had not met since Cell's defeat. What do you think? Of course, this creates a plothole as for why Future Trunks didn't go to the main timeline, one more time, to tell, he had defeated the cyborgs, as h...

Re: 5 cells over 4 timelines.

Future Trunks's timeline was created by Cell's time travel. Thing is, the Trunks of Cell's timeline (T3) traveled to the past, age 764, creating the unseen timeline (T4). There he killed T4 Frieza and T4 King Cold, warned T4 Goku about the cyborgs and gave him the heart medicine. Then, he returned ...

Follow this one instead:
https://s26.postimg.org/3o4tmyhyx/timelines.png
It's very simple in what it does: to take the two timelines we know for granted and to assume what happened in the other two. 1. Blue Timeline (from past to future): Trunks showed up around the time of the...

Re: 5 cells over 4 timelines.

Qaaman follows the assumption that a jump to the past creates a single new timeline (as opposed to creating a copy of each currently existing timeline). Under that assumption, you can end up with a number of individuals different from the number of timelines (so 5 Cells from 4 timelines). So the Tr...

Because the DB movies don't fit anywhere else and there's nothing in the DBZ movies that contradict them. In short, why not?

Re: The Movie Timeline

I like to think the movies take place in their own little timeline. Most people have tried to fit them into the official timeline, with varying success. There was a popular image, showing the movies are in their own little "sub-timelines". Thing with that is that Fusion Reborn showed most...

Re: Dragon Ball Z Movies placement on the timeline

By the way, a famicom game released in 1993 says that the OVA "Plan to Erradicate the Saiyans" happened in an alternate timeline where Cell was killed but Goku didn't die.

Re: The Origine of Saiyans and their creation !?

The GT Perfect Files theorized that the Saiyans were originally Great Apes that developed intelligence and took on a humanoid form. This makes sense when we think of the differences between the Universe 7 Saiyans and the Universe 6 Saiyans. The Universe 6 Saiyans don't have tails, anymore, because t...

Re: 5 cells over 4 timelines.

Does there have to be a Cell who time travelled into the past of the Trunks timeline? As well as the one that emerged naturally? Was watching this annoying video again: https://youtu.be/lh58fPJtfR4 How did he get there/which timeline did he come from. He can't have got there by being duplicated bec...

Re: Dragon Ball Z Movies placement on the timeline

About the Metal Coolers in Xenoverse 2, they appeared through Towa's wormhole that connected the events of Return of Cooler on New Namek in an alternate timeline of age 767 to the events of the Cell Games on Earth in the main timeline of age 767, allowing the Metal Coolers to join the Cell Games. Y...

Re: Dragon Ball Z Movies placement on the timeline

According to Xenoverse 2, the events of Return of Cooler happened in alternate timeline of age 767. For context, that would be the same year the Androids show up, specifically somewhere between January and April because the Androids arrive on May 7th. If Trunks really also wanted to also make sure ...

Re: "(Super) Dragon Ball Heroes" Official Discussion Thread

Trunks and Chronoa may simply have been surprised Towa and Mira were acting in certain ages or this may be a causal loop. Also in Dragon Ball Online it's said that in Age 851, Mira and the Time Breakers destroyed New Namek. Age 851 is the year between Xenoverse and Xenoverse 2, it certainly makes s...

Wow you are right. I was sure they sidestepped, and then that that was a dub thing. I looked up a dubbed clip and he does say it. Which begs the question? What happened to Cooler in the “canon” time line he must have lived up until Freeza was old enough to remember him at the very least.... I think...

He did recognize Cooler see https://youtu.be/aYSjIlJAG8o?t=3377 and https://youtu.be/aYSjIlJAG8o?t=3399. He said: "I-Is that you...!" and "B-Brother?!". He, obviously, knew who Cooler was. In Tokitoki/Conton City, the characters do react to each other, for example if you are und...

Re: Dragon Ball Z Movies placement on the timeline

Strange, we don't know how the non canon stuff goes down in xenoverse though. So he pulls those alternate metal Coolers into the canon timeline... Strange. They left it deliberately ambiguous if there was a Cooler (and slug and turles etc) in the canon timeline.... Turles knows Goku but Goku doesn'...
