Update: the two dubbed episodes that aired yesterday were a mistake and the show is now airing subbed. So yeah, seems like we're waiting until February for the dub to start airing properly.

Emulating Funimation voices was always a backwards evolution of dub in Poland. The Funimation dub was not considered at all when casting. Every actor was picked based on the Japanese version. Maksymilian Bogumił returned as Yamcha but in today's episode, he was voiced by Mateusz Kwiecień.
Kosmowski says that Bogumił stepped down from the role and couldn't be convinced to come back.
