This game really makes me want a new Burst Limit or Infinite Worlds type game. This Sparking! stuff is just too repetitive and clumsy.

Compared to the Z and GT season sets, these are BEAUTIFUL. In all honesty, when it comes to the original Dragon ball, I could do without a Dragonbox, if they keep up this level of quality.

I'm not sure why everyone hates the original Spaking's CG. Compared to the other Sparkings, and even Infinite Worlds, its beautiful! If it wasn't for the lack of a new song to go along with it, I might've preferred it over the Budokai 3 opening.

At least FUNimation's version of Makafushigi Adventure makes up for all of these. You have to agree it even beats the Japanese version stylistically, lyrically, and in other ways I can't even describe. Its probably the only good example of English music in anime.

Come on, we all did it when FUNimation first started releasing subtitled DVDs. Considering that these are imports too makes the price even more attractive.

I preferred the one with the original Dragonball logo. The American one never looked all that authoritative to me.

Looks like FUNimation finally turned the noise reduction filters down. Other than the over saturation, these look pretty damn good. Those Madman DVDs look beautiful! You see guys, this is why we hate FUNimation. They have the same exact masters, but somehow, they manage to make them look like crap, when they could easily crop the damaged edges off like they did during the original DVD releases, and encode the video at a decent b...

Maybe it's just because this is a TV broadcast, but I feel like Toei really could have done a better job cleaning up some of the shots. There just seems to be a lot of dust/noise/garbage left in some of the larger color patches. Here's a shot from episode 2, and then a frame from a few seconds late...
