Can't find it on Youtube, but there's a scene in FUNi's Season 3, part of the "Chichi's spaceship" filler subplot. After almost choking Yajirobe, Dr Briefs apologizes by saying "BLEEERRRSGHAAAAAAD!" Acting in Big Green dub etc. is laughable, but at least it's comprehensible. edit...

Just give them all to Welker. All of them. Bulma included. I'm just imagining Kuririn with his Rumble voice. :D

Also, they gave the Quintessons really horrible, deep, slow rapevoices. Perfect for Cell and maybe Freeza.

I would just like the option to swap costumes between some of the characters. So we would get to see Goku in old-style Saiyan armor, Vegeta in Goku's gi, Kuririn in Piccolo's outfit and, for the coup de grace, Ginyu in Young Chichi's bikini.

So no, not really.

Hyper Dimension. I still remember playing that game for the first time... "Holy crap, Goku is staring wistfully into the distance! This is going to be SO EXCITING!" Serious answer - Budokai 2. They managed to covey the spirit of the show (goofy humor + awesomely exaggarated fighting) and t...

While it devolved into a shitstorm, I'd say that this is a legitimate topic. Really, you can nitpick every developer's lapses in judgement, even the larger ones like Capcom. Hell, ESPECIALLY Capcom. Also, I've read something to the effect that Atari pressured Dimps into releasing an unfinished Budok...

This seems to be the all-purpose general Kai thread, and since I just recently caught up with most of the episodes, I'll post my overall thoughts here. In a word - disappointing. I really wanted to like this series, but I just can't muster any excitement over it anymore. While it seems pretty okay a...

Yeah, they seem to keep the tracing in check now, just like in the first two episodes. It's during the fights that they decide to go all out for some reason.

In the Portuguese version Kakarott was translated "cachalote" which means sperm whale. That was in every French-based version, so almost every European dub ever. Except UK, they got Big Green. The uber-crappy voices, however, were unique to the Portuguese dub. It still remember Giny...

but that's not what he said. It looks pretty much exactly like the original, lack of shading and all. Except that it doesn't. It looks like the original traced by a Newgrounds kiddie. Like a xerox of a copy of a redrawing. Have you ever seen a drawing by a beginner artist who tries to learn by trac...

While that screen shot is fine and all, I think the biggest problem is that it's straight-up just re-drawn. Raditz looked that bad in the original too. You say it's because it was drawn in a different style. I say it's crap. Let's compromise and say it's in a different style that's crap. Why would ...

For me, the Newgrounds-style redrawn cels are much more of a travesty than any of the censorship. DeamonCorps posted this screenshot in the other thread - http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww348/DaemonCorps/dbkai05.jpg . Look at his face. Just look at it. He looks like a Fusion of Raditz and Chiaot...

Pit here against any DB character who doesn't have Ki control and she'd kick their ass. I say, drop the Ginyu Force (all of them) but put in Chi-Chi. She's better than them. In the name of all that is good in this world, NO! You know, what you just said reminded me of a hilarious Polish DB commerci...

Mr Satan fought helluva lot more than Chichi, and in more significant fights, even if only for a comedy relief. As such, I see no reason not to include him as a comedy character. But not Chichi. She doesn't work as a comedy fighter, as a serious fighter, she doesn't work as ANYTHING, unless her only...

Well,Chichi doesn't seem THAT farfetched, she, if anything is skilled enough to work her way into the Budokai public fights. Maybe, but so what? Come on, in the manga, she participated in one siginificant fight... her role consisted of her falling on her ass... and it wasn't even in DBZ! The frigge...

Sparking's roster is almost perfect IMO. Could use a few tweaks here or there, but it's great nonetheless. Every one of the fighters that participated in the significant fights (Ginyu Force included), plus all their transformations. No ridiculous choices like Bulma or Chichi that the fans seem stran...

I still think the 1st Budkai was the best concept for a Story Mode, with Budokai 3 a close 2nd. The animation was stiff in some moments, and it would be nice to see more original material, but still, I think the old-fashioned way has the most potential. It's true all of us have already seen the anim...
