I agree. I seriously think it could be adapted, just it needs to be in the right hands and right script.

Re: Dragonball Z: Saiyan Saga - Help make this happen!
For me a real life Dragonball is entirely redundant and is an idea I will never entertain. It's like making a real life Simpsons (random example) - it doesn't work!

Re: FUNimation's Dragon Boxes have indeed been discontinued
Oh, Movie Mars? That's who I bought from, they sell on amazon.com and amazon.co.uk. I bought mine from amazon.co.uk and I'm still waiting for it to be shipped. Sounds and looks fishy as fuck if you ask me. At least with eBay if its fishy you can get your money back (use paypal!) so its worth a shot...

Re: FUNimation's Dragon Boxes have indeed been discontinued
It's fairly obvious since he scalps for dragon boxes so he can make a quick buck out of them. As dballfan stated, he had an auction recently go for $180. There was a photo he had where he had a bed filled with boxes, he buys them in bulk to sell them for high prices. I just find it incredibly uneth...

Re: FUNimation's Dragon Boxes have indeed been discontinued
How do you know he got one? In any case I just hope that some of the people who actually need these finally take advantage of this now. The username begins with r and ends in r, that person also has the same feedback as rs does (I know this because I had his used one on watch to see what it would g...

Re: FUNimation to put DBZ on Blu-Ray
I've skimmed through this thread and checked out some image comparisons. The blu-rays do look sharper than the Dragon Boxes, though I'm not really a fan of the colors they used. All in all, I don't see enough of a difference in the picture quality to justify buying these when I have the Dragon Boxe...

If your facing the enigma of double features/triple feature vs DVDs go for the blu-rays.

Re: FUNimation to put DBZ on Blu-Ray
Just got Level 1.1 today in the mail and damn does it look good. I don't think I can watch my Dragon Box after getting this. This is by far the best looking release of Dragon Ball Z to date. I think this is now my favorite release. You think thats good wait till' you get 1.2 than looks even better!

Re: FUNimation to put DBZ on Blu-Ray
Best is such an subjective word. At the end of the day the packaging is not even in contention with the Dbox's, but the packaging does their job . This is the first blu-ray release normally after singles of anything a box-set is inevitable If by boxset, you mean a 2 for 1 set that looks identical t...
