Re: Ever feel like it's difficult to return to the English d

You should say it to Chris Parsos not me. He's the one who's forcing opinions down our throats and making it seem like fact. It's just a Japanese cartoon intended for elementary school children, yet he rages just because Funimation wanted it to appeal to Western audiences. What's so bad about that?...

Re: Ever feel like it's difficult to return to the English d

They changed it and guess what? DBZ was more popular in America than when they first aired it, using the original Japanese music. Uh... What. When DBZ was first brought over they DID change the music... That YouTube user has things completely backwards; the Japanese music wasn't used in the series ...

Re: Ever feel like it's difficult to return to the English d

I'm going to try and be super chill here. I know your a kid but nobody is after you so can you please try to tone down the martyr routine? Between that and the countless threads you make to try and get people to validate your opinion you give off this vibe that people are constantly attacking your ...

Re: Namek and Android arcs (Kuichi): Kai dub or DBZ dub?

Scratch that. The Kai dub is overrated in terms of voice quality. For Namek it's Ocean>Kai>Funimation defo. Paul Dobson is the best Zarbon outside Sho Hayami and guess what? Tatum is just doing a bad Sho Hayami impression. At least Dobson imitated no-one and gave a good Zarbon.

Re: Ever feel like it's difficult to return to the English d

If I sit back, turn my brain off regarding the differences between the two versions, and am open-minded, I guess the DBZ dub can be tolerable. I mean, there are some good scenes and cool lines in it but overall.... nah.... Even the guy doing Goku in it doesn't like it! Don't use Sean Schemmel...

Did Scandinavia get the Ocean dub 108-276?

I released that it wasn't just English speaking countries that got episodes 108-276, but English USING countries such as the Netherlands and Belgium that got those 160+ episodes. From my research done, most Scandinavians are proficient in English. So anyways, did you get the Ocean dub? Scandinavia i...

Re: Ever feel like it's difficult to return to the English d

Well I watch it every day and I would say the only thing about the English Funi Z dub that grates my nerves is Seasons 3-4. 5 is decent and 6-9 are quite cool. As for Ocean, I think 1-53 and the 3 movies are the best in terms of voice quality. 108-276 is awesome, but the 'veterans' were lacking I.E ...

Why Chris 'G' Sabat reeks IMO

Hello Daizenshuu Ex. My name is 'UnbiasedDBZfan' and as you may know I am an avid Chris Sabat basher. This post may be long but it's my thoughts and views. As a young(watching YTV with my dad) lad I used to like Sabat, but then Season 6 hit and that weird Vegeta voice returned. I was like wha? He wa...

Re: Son Goku: A represenative for people in the Autism spect

Yeah, autism is a vast spectrum. I think even OCD can be part of someone's autism. NO that's OCDP(obsessive, compulsive, personality disorder) which is similar. It is but not limited to 1.feelings of excessive doubt and caution 2.preoccupation with details, rules, lists, order, organization or sche...

Re: Son Goku: A represenative for people in the Autism spect

I don't think Goku has autism of any kind. As someone who studies things like this, I would know. It isn't a bad thing to have autism, it's just Americans(especially Autism speaks) over exaggerate how Autism works. For one it's NOT a disability or a mental illness. Well at least, if you're in the lo...

Re: Bruce Faulconer's 'full potential'

You are right, probably wasn't the best thing to say, and honestly I'm not comfortable with people displaying in their sigs as a battle theme. I do have respect for other musicians. To even say something positive about my mortal enemy is just weird (BF). And I certainly don't claim to be the best. ...

Re: How was the BLT dub? (dragonball 1995)

Unbiased, wow, I couldn't disagree more. I think Henderson sounds like a kid, whereas Nadolny sounds too much like a smoker. (Again, very nice lady, just not my cup of tea for Goku.) Also, I love Monica's take on Bulma, especially in the Blood Rubies film. I really wish they would redo the annivers...

Re: How was the BLT dub? (dragonball 1995)

The dub is bad. Saffron Henderson makes Goku sound smart and polite(in which he's not BTW, even Stephanie Nadonly did a better job. Ironic isn't it?) and Bulma is annoying(not as much as Rial or Vollmer.) Also it's censored.

Re: DBZ Voice Competition/Battles

Why post videos with scrolling text? Why not just type it out. Seems like you're taking a lot of unnecessary steps if its just text. At least use video examples. A commentary would be ideal. :? Nope, because 1. My voice is unmanly and not very tough sounding. 2. I work in strict confidence. You won...
